I lost 3 pounds in 2 days?
It's water weight. I work as a trainer and my clients freak over their weight alot... but I never worry about a fluctuation of 2-3 pounds. The reasons for being heavier or lighter from one day to the next could be -water weight -you might need to use the restroom -you didn't weigh yourself at the same time of the day -you just ate -you just drank water -you just worked out and your muscles are pumped -you wore heavier clothing (shoes vs no shoes) What I always do is monitor the general theme. If you're always gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds but never get any lower, that means you are maintaining your weight.
I couldn't solve a programming problem for two days so I looked at the solution. I have learnt to ask questions rather than relying on brute force. I feel like I have hindered my learning because of this and feel stupid. Am I?
When I was an intern my boss gave me a task that required knowledge of Handling data in a server, python, raspberry pi, embedded systems knowledge, and C programming.So what I knew? I knew how to do some basic problem solving using C. So I struggled for days. Because everything was unknown to me. Then he came after the office hour was over. He took my PC and asked what do we want to do?He taught me everything he needed on that one day. He showed me how to solve problems you can’t solve.Long story short he said It’s not important that you come up with the solution on your own. It’s important that you understand you can’t and it’s completely okay to ask questions and figure out the solution.As long as you can do that you are more than enough to do your job. Always remember it’s important you know what you are doing even if you are solving your problem by using someone else’s solution.I think it’s a good thing that you learned to ask questions because that’s how you divide your problem into small segments and then solve them one at a time. Don’t bother using brute force if you don’t have the domain knowledge of that certain topic.
Does it sound natural to say "I was so busy for two days that I couldn't come on Facebook"?
The other answers are great. I would just add that since you’ve used ‘so’ which adds emphasis to the first part of your sentences, I’d add another emphasis marker to the second half, ‘even’. Then I would re-structure the sentence slightly.If I keep your original tense it would be:I was so busy for 2 days that I didn’t even get a chance to go on Facebook.However, I’m inclined to think that you’d like to add the sense of ‘recently’, so I’d put it into the present perfect.I’ve been so busy for the last two days that I haven’t even got a chance to go on Facebook.I hope that helps.
If I don't eat for two days and only drink water, how much weight will I lose?
you could probably loose a few pounds maybe 5-6 if your lucky. But if you really want to make sure you loose weight for those two days, you should also exercise to make sure your cutting those calories out as much as you can. 1 pound = 3500 calories. you must either burn that many calories to loose 1 pound or in take that many to gain 1 pound. If you calculate your BMR- (basal metabolic rate) which you can o on this link, http://health.discovery.com/centers/hear... it will tell you how many calories a day your body is burning by you just being alive, and would burn even if you layed in bed all day and didn't move. Then add the calories you burn from exercising and BAM, thats how many pounds you will loose. Simply math.
PLEASE HELP Took plan b two days after ovulation?
The condom broke took plan b two days later (couldn't get it any sooner!) Took three tests before my period was due. one positive and two negatives. Two days ago the 6th when i wiped i saw light pink it was barley there When i went back it was gone and it hasn't started since I thought this was strange because not to be gross but i have a very very heavy flow and it doesn't start light it's just heavy. I know spotting is a side affect of the pill but i've taken it once before and nothing happened and my period came on time. Im having all the symptoms of my first pregnancy sore breasts frequent urination back pain my period is due today do you think its mind pregnancy? has anyone been through this or knows someone who has? has anyone ever gotten pregnant after taking plan b? please no rude comments just helpful advice

Condom stuck inside me for two days. Could be possible if pregnant????
Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 days ago(Tuesday) ironically I was supposed to start my period that day to but didn't know till afterwards. We tried to find the condom after but we couldn't. All this week I have been cramping I could feel period symptoms also really sore breast. Earlier today I felt something coming out of me and I then realized it was the condom... I am two days late. I am trying not to stress about it right now due to being college. The last two days I have the worst cramps like a period. Even today I have had bad cramps. I cant remember if he came in the condom or not. I did see a little of white but I don't know if it was me or him. When I pulled the condom out it was scribbled up, mainly the outside of the condom was exposed not much of the inside was exposed, except the entrance of the condom. Even the entrance of the condom was not even but slightly. I don't know what to do? How likely would it be possible for me to be pregnant???
Any problems with cats not getting fed for two days?
I agree that it's sad and that I should have been more responsible. I feel terrible for not calling and checking like I should, and that I didn't leave more food out for her. But I can't change the past, so I'm just trying to figure out what I should do in the future. I'll give my vet a call tomorrow, thanks.
