Fox Theater - Pomona Question

Fox Theatre Pomona first-come-first-serve?

It's first come first serve if your tickets say "GA balcony". You paid for the ticket, so it's not like they're not going to let you in, it just means that there's not an specific seat saved for you. This also means that you can't go down to where the regular GA floor tickets are. The whole system is kinda stupid I personally think, but oh well. The Kills are great, so I'm sure the concert is gonna be amazing no matter what :)

How early do you have to be to get a pit wristband at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA?

This varies from concert to concert. There's no way we can tell you. Get there as early as you can for the concert.

How much is it to rent the fox theater in salinas ca?

Does the theater have a website with contact information? Google it and if they do, email them your question.

Early Entry to the Fox Theater Pomona?

I'm going to see The Kills in few weeks, and this will be my first time attending a show at the Fox Theater. I have GA floor tickets, and I REALLY want to be at the rail. I know I'm going to have to go early, but I read that they have early entry for happy hour. I'm underage, so is the bar the ONLY place you can get early entry? Or I guess a silly question is, do you HAVE to be 21 in order to go to their "lounge" I REAALLLY wanna be close up because I always get stuck behind some giant freaking people, and plus The Kills are one of my fav bands of all time.

UCLA/Cal Poly Pomona Extension Program?

So I've been looking into universities and schools (CIDA accredited) with degrees in interior design, mostly in California or New York because I feel like they have the most job opportunities for the field. I know I want to be some sort of interior designer, maybe with a minor in architecture or something along those lines. Anyways, I've been looking into UCLA mainly because of it's location and because I know it's a great school. However, I found that if I want to go into interior design there I'd have to go through the UCLA Extension program with Cal Poly Pomona? I've never really heard of the extension program, so I'm just wondering what it's like. From what I've read I think most of the classes are in Westwood and the UCLA side, and not really in Pomona. I'm from Virginia also, and I've been to California so I'm a little familiar with the geographics, but I'm still a little fuzzy. So if anyone could help me out and give me an idea of what the school is like, the atmosphere, the curriculum and such? I have a few questions just to give me an idea of if this is a school I'd want to attend or not.

Are the classes for the extension program in Los Angeles or Pomona?

Is the extension program as good as UCLA itself?

Have any of you been through the Interior Design program with UCLA Extension? If so, what was it like?

What is the atmosphere like at UCLA? Are housing and transportation fairly good?

What is the crime rate around the UCLA area?

Are the professors good at UCLA/UCLA Extension?

What is student life like at UCLA? Are people friendly, are there plenty of things to do, is there a typical "college scene", etc?

Are there good job opportunities for a starting interior designer in the LA area?

Is the UCLA interior design program well respected among interior designers?

Also, are there any other schools for interior design (preferably in the Southern California/New York areas) that you would recommend?

Also, please share your experiences with your interior design school if you'd like, anything is appreciated(:

What are some lesser-known sights to see when visiting Pomona, CA?

Well, you have downtown Pomona. They have art galleries and a big outdoor art gallery every second and last Saturday of the month, some restaurants and some shopping and concert venues, as well. There is the Pomona fairplex, which hosts several events year-round, including the LA County Fair. They hold many NHRA events at the drag strip, as well. You have Bonelli Park, too. Mt baldy village is fairly close, as is route 66 and many of the wonderful sights to see and visit along that route. Visiting the neighboring cities can open your options up, as well. Clairemont, Montclair, San Dimas, Upland and many of the other foothill cities offer great place to visit and eat at. GOALS is great for outdoor 4vs4 soccer. There are many parks around town. Sycamore canyon park in neighboring diamond bar is outstanding for small hikes and wonderful sights. The calpoly and Mt Sac campuses are a sights to behold and offer fantastic places to eat and shop (calpoly farm store, anybody?). Phillips mansion is a spooky piece of past history. Phillips ranch is cool visit of you wanna shop at Winco or hang around a bunch of people who actually live in Pomona, but pretend they don't and say they live in Phillips ranch. Get over yourself, it's still Pomona (91766).

Is downtown Pomona, Ca. safe?

I'll be going to a concert on October 19th at The Fox Theater to see The Story So Far and a few other bands! The concert is around 6pm i believe?
My dad said Pomona overall is dangerous no matter what time of day it is but I think it might just have a bad reputation. He's been getting me a bit paranoid, haha.
Can anyone just give me a little bit of background info or something?

THANKS! xx
