Free download dell reboot disc

Where can I download an HP recovery disc?

You might not be able to do that because most of the OEMs (like HP are douchy and want to charge you for a disk). You can try to get one by claiming that they are supposed to provide media for the OS (they provide it on the HDD which is BS). They are obligated to provide one and, if you are crabby enough, you can probably get them to send you one for free. But don’t bother. The good news is that you don’t need one. You can download both Windows 7 and Windows 10 installation media from Microsoft and get the drivers from HP Technical Support, Help, and Troubleshooting for your machine. This is much better because that image will not be loaded with OEM crapware and bloatware and McAfee AV (one of the worst AVs around).

Restore Windows XP Dell Inspiron 1200 laptop w/o disk.?

Two options available on Dell Website.

You can either order a new Recovery CD, or download it from their website. (To be 100% sure if the CD is available for download you need to enter your Service Tag and make sure it is available.)

The first Recovery CD is free and you can get it by completing a form from the following link:

Dell Customers can now request a set of backup discs containing the factory-installed operating system as well as the device drivers and utilities specific to your system.

* Requests are limited to one (1) set of backup discs per system purchased.
* The backup discs requested must match the operating system that was factory installed on the original order.

Please note that Dell will provide you the most up to date Resource disc available, containing the latest drivers and diagnostic tools currently being shipped on new systems. Due to the frequent updates, this Resource disc may not have all the drivers needed for your specific system, especially if it is over one (1) year old.

Before doing that you may want to see if it is available for download, since that would be faster.

Visit the following website:

Enter your Service Tag, which can be found in your Dell laptop or desktop, and find the downloads that are available for you.

If you have more questions I suggest you visit Dell Community. I have had good experience with that. There are people there who are willing to help and are quite well-informed about Dell computers.

Re-Install Windows 7 64-bit On Dell Inspiron N5030 - Disc Didn't Come With Computer?

It seems very hard to just get an exact, specific answer to this question. All over people ignore the question and list other things to do besides re-installing the Windows.

I now can understand this isn't something that is prefered, and can be difficult. Well my Hard Drive crashed. Dead. Gone. Useless. I have a new Hard Drive that's almost exactly like my old one - brand new and empty. The trouble is... what do I do now? I have no factory-sent disc to re-install my Windows 7!

No way am I spending the money to pay for Windows 7 when I already bought it - and I have the product key. But for my computer, they did not send the re-installation disc for Windows 7. Which is turning out to be a pain from what I'm learning.

All I have is the Drivers and Utilities Disc. That's all that came with it. So how do I re-install my specific Windows 7, using my product key to register it, on my brand new Hard Drive?

Again, I can't use my old one for anything. I did run a System Backup on my External Hard Drive but I think I want to re-install Windows and have it running before I run that.

I have my Windows 7 product key, it's a Dell Inspiron N5030 x64bit - Year of 2010. No factory sent re-installation disc..... new Hard Drive.

So how do I optain the clean, safe, secure re-installation of my Windows 7 (Home Premium) and use it to install it on my new Internal Hard Drive? Please be very clear and descriptive, if I left anything important out - let me know. Thank you!

If I want to downgrade from Windows Vista to Windows XP with a Dell computer, can Dell send me a disc????

It's a little more complicated then that. Not all computer that come with Vista installed are capable of going to XP, do to the computers drivers not being able to support XP.

So first you must go to the dell website, go into driver download, put in the model number of your computer and see if your computer has all the driver downloads that can support XP.

If they do, then that means you can install XP on the computer. But I don't know if dell can send you the cd for it, they may or may not. You would be able to buy it from the store, no problem, but if you install XP onto the computer, it may end up voiding the warranty on your computer.

Also you will have to format the computer, before install XP. Because you will not be able to put XP over VIsta, as Vista is newer. So you will have to backup any important documents and anything else.
