Frequent Urination And Unsure Why

My dog has rash on belly, has blood in urine, frequent urination, and didn't eat all of food....help?

Hi I'm a vet tech and it sounds to me like a possible UTI as well as some sort of allergy. I do suggest taking her to another vet who will probably recommend a urinalysis maybe some antibiotics, antihistamine, and a medicated shampoo hope I helped and whatever you do don't say you read on the internet it might be .... lol we don't appreciate that too much

In early pregnancy, what is considered "frequent urination"?

Uhm...I can't imagine anyone having that symptom at only 3 and a half weeks. Most women don't even feel any of the pregnancy symptoms until a month or longer after being pregnant. Frequent urination could mean many other things...like a yeast infection. Frequent urination in pregnancy does not come (most of the time) until the third tri-mester...due to the weight and pressure of the baby weighing down on the bladder. I really doubt that you're pregnant....just don't stress until you take the test!....but if you are pregnant I'd really like to know...cause I've never heard of anyone having that symptom so early.

What are some causes of frequent urination (men)? And how it can be avoided?

In senior men the most probable cause of Lower urinary tract symptoms is an obstructive prostate, causing them to be unable to completely void after urinating, so have the urge to urinate again shortly after.  That often results in them feeling the urge to urinate frequently, each time only a little bit, with a poor stream ending in a terminal dribble wetting their pants, this also causing them to have to urinate nights although up to twice a night is still considered normal. To avoid this nightly urination one could stop drinking from 2 to 3 hours before bedtime.Since voiding time is lengthened, take your time urinating, and seek the best posture when voiding: up to a few years ago urologists recommended sitting down to better empty the bladder, nowadays many urologists think urinating while standing up is better.Alpha-1 blocker are drugs suitable to treat these symptoms. If the quantity/portions aren't abnormally high (more than say 6 liters daily), you don't have diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar causing sugar in the urine taking water with it), diabetes insepidus (the kidney can't concentrate the urine well), high serum calcium or psychogenic polydipsy (drinking a lot without bodily need so urinating a lot as a consequence of that).

What causes frequent urination in dogs?

In an otherwise seemingly normal polydipsic dog: Id go with diabetes, chronic compensated renal disease, Cushings disease (very often misdiagnosed as one of the others), diabetes insipidus (much less common), psychogenic dipsomania, salt on the feet, infected uterus, etc, etc, etc. See your vet, quick. If you're unsure if your dog is drinking a lot, measure the water intake over 4–5 days. The normal average is one ounce of water per pound bodyweight per day. If the amount being taken in is 2x this, your dog has a problem. Bladder infections will make dogs urinate more frequently but may or may not make them drink more. Female dogs spayed young may leak urine in their sleep, so these things need to be sorted out by a professional.

Strange bump on bottom of my penis? frequent urination as well?

I am a 19 year old male, and about five weeks ago I started having very frequent urination problems, difficulty starting urinating, problems maintaining flow and weak flow, sometimes burning when urinating but not always, and even waking up many times in the night to go. I find it difficult to start urinating when standing and easier when I'm sitting down. I think this is a prostate problem and I went to the GP and he said that the test results said that there is no bacteria in my urine, meaning no infection, and that my kidneys are working fine. He told me to go see a urologist and lately I've been worried sick about this problem, thinking that it might be cancer or something. Lately I noticed that there is this bump on the bottom of my penis, beneath the head, and it is the color of my skin. I know for a fact that I have had this bump for a long time, since I remember seeing it for the first time about a year ago. It never truly bothered me and it never interfered with erections or masturbation. I noticed that when I touch it, it hurts a little if I push on it alot. What could this be? I've been staying at home alot and don't shower all the time, since I don't really have to go anywhere, and usually after I ejaculate after masturbation I clean up with water and towel. Is this bump a problem? Is it the reason why I am having trouble urinating? Just in case, there is no blood or odd color in my urine and I don't feel any pain in my pelvic area or in my penis, although sometimes it burns when I have that burning urine. I am not sexually active, but I do masturbate frequently, what could it be?

Cervicitis from rough, frequent sex? Burning urination, odd smell, whitish discharge?

Hello all,

I'm 18 years old, I've been with my partner for 4 months now, and both of us have had blood work and are clean of STDs. We've had sex 2-3 times a week, but recently, we had sex for 2 days in a row, and both times were rough. I'm showing symptoms of cervicitis. I can feel my swollen cervix with about half a finger length, probably less. It hurt a lot yesterday when I peed, but it's not as bad today. There is some bloody discharge when I pee, but it's not a whole lot. My vag and pee smells a bit funky (sorry for the details, but y'all need the whole picture), and there's some splotchy white stuff on the toilet paper.

I've read that it usually goes away with taking a break from sex and drinking cranberry juice. I know it's not trichomoniasis, since we're both clean. I'm just making sure that it WILL go away with time, because I don't want to go to the doctor. My mom would freak if she knew I was having sex.

So, please: nurses, doctors, women who have had this experience, help!

Increased Appetite, Nausea, Frequent Urination. Preggy or BC Side Effects? Do B12 vitamins supress appetite?

I started taking Lutera 7 days ago. I am a Sunday starter so I know the BC wasnt effective during those first 7 days so we have been using condoms. I am having a severe increase in appetite, peeing a lot more frequently and I wake up nauseous in the middle of the night. I am unsure if I am pregnant or if these are just side effects from my birth control. I am most concerned about the increase in appetite because I rarely ate before but now I cant seem to get full. I thought maybe it was just in my head but my boyfriend said he has noticed that I am eating a lot more than usual. I know that Lutera can cause weight gain...could this also mean an increase in appetite? I read somewhere that B complex vitamins can help supress your appetite. Is this true? Is there anything else I can take to control my increased appetite?

Weak urination stream when I wake up?

It could be that after a night of avoiding wetting your bed, it takes a little bit of effort to get things moving. Contrast this with a full bladder when you've been awake for hours.

Why is a urinary tract infection treated with antibiotics instead of letting it clear up on its own?

Interesting theory. But not a case that should be tested based on your overall health. The overall goal is to always get an antibiotic to cure and get rid of UTI. The illness most likely will actually never go away, even with the use of probiotics or even UTI treatment that are over the counter. The end result will all lead to a antibiotic eventually. If you ever feel like it actually went away, most likely it was always still there and it would “flair up” every now and then. This is considered as a chronic UTI.Now, there are methods you can take so that the cost and your overall health aren’t conflicting. There are two main reasons why people don’t take antibiotics, either they are a health cautious or they can’t afford it. for the health cautious, I really don’t know what to tell you. This is one of those things where you gotta let it go. Unless you constantly want to deal with reoccurring UTIs, you really don’t have a curing solution. Prevention solution there are, but curing solution, you need an antibiotic. For the people that can’t afford it or have poor emergency room coverage, you gotta be proactive. Look for the UTI symptoms. Know them well. When you feel a UTI coming, go to the store and buy Cystex Urinary Pain Relief Tablets - Cystex. These will keep your body healthy and get rid of any pain or burning feeling you might have. After that, schedule an appointment with your general doctor. You will only have to pay your co pay and you dodge the bullet on a very expensive hospital bill. After you have taken the antibiotic. Check out Cystex Urinary Health Maintenance - Cystex. This is a preventive liquid that you take daily that will guarantee you are UTI free as long as you take it. Cystitis is a real problem. Don’t ignore it. Good luck and I wish you great health.

Is painful urination as sign of pregnancy?

you CAN get pregnant if you have sex, and a common cause of UTI is also a common outcome of sex (and other reasons). your symptoms don't have anything in common with pregnancy (except frequent urinating, but thats more towards the end of pregnancy when your bladder is getting squashed by your baby). It is common and normal to get UTI, and doesn't mean you a dirty or different, so do talk to your dr and not get too embarressed to go as it could become painful.
the bigger sign of pregnancy would be not getting your period!!!! but that is never a definate indication, periods can be so unpredictable at times!!
