Friday The 13th 1980 Vs The Evil Dead 1981

Any ideas for scary street names?

- Parkrose Crescent
- Mary's Villa
- Mockingbirds's Lane
- Cemetery lane
- Elm Street
- Sleepy Hollow
- Bodega Bay

You can write terms on the end like - villa, lane, street to make sound like horror.

Also you can say house. no. 13 or actually 1313 to give more gothic view.

What is a widely liked movie that you didn't like and why?

Instead of just plain popularity I've listed out certain films that are generally considered classics today but haven't appealed to me personally. I apologize if this hurts any sentiments, it's just my opinion. No Country for Old Men : Coen brothers walk a tight rope when it comes to engaging storytelling. I really enjoyed movies like Fargo and The Big lebowski but this one I found plain boring. The Matrix : Basement dwelling teenage boy's wet dream. I have grown up since then.Casablanca : Casablanca has really aged, I couldn't identify with its perceived brilliance.Raiders of the Lost Arc : Indiana Jones films haven't really appealed to me that much in general, I find them tacky.Terminator 2 : Judgement Day : Mostly for the reasons that applied to The Matrix. These days I find most James Cameroon films detestableThe Lion King : I get the feeling The Lion King gets all its attention due to its nostalgic value, I thought society has moved past those juvenile Disney days. Some Like it Hot : People hail it as some comedic masterpiece, I think it's surviving on its iconic imagery.Gone with the Wind : Popularity doesn't equal excellence and very few films came out back then.Slumdog Millionaire : Danny Boyle's a great director but this is probably his weakest work.Roman Holiday : It is essentially a variation of Princess Diaries set in the  50s. Sure Audrey Hepburn's a charming lady but do you really think it would've reached its iconic status were it released today ?

Probably the most notable was The Blair Witch Project (1999) which was shot on a $60,000 budget and grossed $249 million worldwide.  Some consider it one of the best horror movies of all time. The best low budget movies were:Rocky (1976), $1 million budget, grossed $225 million and won the Best Picture Academy Award.Halloween (1978), $320,000 budget, grossed $60 million worldwide and started a whole new genre of "slasher" horror movies. My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002), $5 million budget, grossed $368 million.American Graffiti (1973), $777,000 budget, grossed $140 million.  Nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award.Night Of The Living Dead (1968), $140,000 budget, grossed $30 million.  Introduced the zombie movie to the world.Napoleon Dynamite (2004), $400,000 budget, grossed $50 million.Slumdog Millionaire (2008), $15 million budget, grossed over $360 million  worldwide and won the Best Picture Academy Award.Enter The Dragon (1973), $850,000 budget, grossed $90 million worldwide and introduced Bruce Lee and martial arts movies to the world.Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), $15 million budget, grossed $214 million worldwide.  It was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won four.Mad Max (1979), $200,000 budget, grossed almost $100 million.  It featured Mel Gibson when he was relatively unknown and served as a template for future post-apocalyptic movies. Some of the best horror movies of all time, in addition to The Blair Witch Project and Halloween, were filmed on small budgets:Friday The 13th (1980), $550,000 budget, grossed almost $60 million.Saw (2003), $1,200,000 budget, grossed $103 million. The Evil Dead (1981), $375,000 budget, grossed over $29 million.Possibly the most successful low budget movie of all time was Deep Throat (1972).  Filmed on a budget of $22,500 it is rumored to have made over $600 million.  Whether it can be considered one of the best low budget movies of all time would be an interesting debate.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low...http://unrealitymag.com/index.ph...
