Friends Season 2 Episode 19: What did Rachel mean by "How do you expect me to grow if you won't let me blow?"
In the said episode Rachel is reaading a book called " Be your own windkeeper " suggested to her by Pheobe and Monica. This book as suggested is a women self empowerment book which drives its point using a theory where women spirit is equated with wind and women themselves as "wind keeper!!", this book also calls Men "Lightning Bearer" who allegedly dont want wind keepers to grow and do so by stealing their winds and preventing it from blowing and growing. So when Ross suggests plans he has made for both him and rachel for the evening Rachel interprets it as his attempt to rob her of her own choice for what to do and does end her reply to that with the statement " How do you expect me to grow, if you dont let me Blow?"..but the best part is Ross's reply " You know I dont mind that sort of thing"

Joey never marries in Friends. He had a 3 year relationship with a woman called Angela Delvekio before the Pilot and has a week long relationship with Rachel but they can't get beyond the kissing stage.
