I have had typhoid fever for 15 days. I took the medicine and I'm still having symptoms. The doctor told me that it's been cured, but I still have a headache, abdominal pain, throat pain, weakness, and fever. What should I do now?
Typhoid cannot be cured through medicines alone. DO NOT SELF MEDICATE. It needs medicine ( continuous for some time), diet (lot of water), rest and the body defense mechanism takes over to eliminate the virus. WIDAL will show positive even after 30 days. So, dont go by it. Consult a senior or government doctor (local and aged doctor in your locality) and obey whatever he/she says.Note: When i had typhoid, i tried to read a lot about it and took medicines without rest. I got relapse and was admitted to hospital needing saline and bed rest. I lost hair and became weak and paranoid. They stopped giving me medicines as i developed resistence. Hence, please dont read, dont take any advice from online forums or change doctors. A local doctor knows the number of cases in that locality and what medicine doses work better. Hence, please take rest, eat right food and mainly OBEY what doctor says suspending your intelligence and experience. This is not a disease that you can take lightly and medicine alone cannot cure this. I speak from experience.

I'm am sweating like crazy but I'm freezing cold and shaking !! I feel like I can't even move my arms and I haven't ate in a whole day! my mom isn't home and I dot know what to do? I feel woozy like I'm going to faint should I try to go to doctor?

i've been feeling down lately. i graduated high school in june and have been home almost all day everyday since i go out rarely. in the past month or so i've been feeling really bad. a bunch of thoughts cross my mind all at once and its too much to handle. i couldn't sleep last night i went to bed at 11:00pm and fell asleep after 2:30am death crosses my mind a lot. and i have a sense of fear but i'm not afraid of death. one of my friends recently passed away like 3 days ago cause he committed suicide. other feelings i have been having are: i feel like im in a daze(like u feel after waking up from a nap) all day looong! for the past 3 weeks. i dont feel like working out. i dont have a job or go to school and have been home for the past 9 months or so. is this cabin fever? and will it go away? should i just start going out more and get a job, go to school etc..? please help cause this is scary.

Okay, thank god! I just took her temp at 11:16pm which was just now and its down to 101 on the nose! Thank you everyone and i truely mean it. You all helped me not to totally flip and freak. Why does my friend say i suck at video games?
I was playing zombies with my friend the other day and i got to round 9 by myself (im not very good at zombies) and he took the controller from me and got to round 18 by him self which i thought was impressive. We then proceeded to play the map moon which i have never before played in my life. When i asked for help he would give me wuite stupid responces like "go ustairs in the room with the mystery box" "go there right there! Right there! no not there! are you stupid?" oh and my favorite "why are you getting that gun that gun sucks get the other one you idiot over there." Hes not much help at all and i know im not good at zombies but at least i dont blow at every other video game like him Heres some examples Minecraft- He played for 2 full weeks and had to ask me how to make a torch (on the xbox version which gives you the formulas for everything) BF3- told me his game was gliched because all of his guns were now single fire rate (face plam!) Uncharted- got stuck on level 1 inFamous- also got stuck on level 1 Call of duty- 5th prestige and he uses the scar... I Understand some people arnt good at certin games, for me that is zombies. But he shouldnt be talking to me about sucking at video games if he is really the one who sucks... am i right?
