Hyperthyroid symptoms?

This is difficult to tell, also sometimes it can be relatively difficult to diagnose hyperthyroid symptoms. Some people have slight symptoms or no symptoms at all. The risk involved in such cases is the use of wrong medication such as high blood pressure treatment.
Symptoms associated with hyperthyroidism are listed below:-
One experiences anxiety attacks, nervousness, increased perspiration, irritability difficulty in sleeping, hand tremors, heart racing and general muscular weakness.
People are known to have more frequent bowels although among the hyperthyroid symptoms, diarrhea is uncommon.
Vomiting may occur though one has a good appetite; weight loss and thinning of the skin also join in the list.
Hyperthyroid symptoms in women includes, lighter menstrual flows and the menstrual periods may also occur less often.
‘Speeding up’ of various body systems which include digestive system hyper motility, fast heart beat and a hyper-active nervous system. This is due to the fact that the thyroid hormone is critical; to the normal functionality of the body cells. An upsurge in the amount of T4 over stimulates metabolism. The same effect as that created by an overdose of epinephrine adrenaline.

Is it normal to be diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in 20s?

I recently found out my thyroid is slightly underactive. Hypothyroidism runs in my Dad's family and my Mom was also recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Also, I don't exhibit hardly any of the symptoms associated with hypothyroidism. However, I am tired a lot, and I know feeling fatigued is a common symptom. However, I've also read that people with an underactive thyroid gain weight, but I have trouble gaining weight and am very thin. Anyway, my question is do you think it's unusual to have an underactive thyroid at my age[I'm 27] and also, do you think it's unusual I don't have hardly any of the symptoms associated with hypothyroidism? Thank you.

Can an overactive thyroid cause a person to have too much muscle mass and dangerously low fat? Why or why not?

Being hyperthyroid is a serious health condition and you need to see a doctor for testing and treatment options.  Too much thyroid hormone can negatively affect your heart, muscles, bones, and brain, so it is important to bring levels down.  Being thin and breathless are hyperthyroid symptoms, but so are a fast heart rate, diarrhea, and a high body temperature.  Do you have those symptoms too?  If not, you may not be hyperthyroid, but the symptoms you describe are still serious and warrant medical attention to determine what the cause is.Here's a list of lab tests: Thyroid Blood Tests to Diagnose a Thyroid or Hormone Imbalance  The TSI and TRab (or TBII) are the antibody tests that diagnose Graves' disease (an autoimmune hyperthyroid condition).  You either have them or you don't.  If you don't, then you could still be hyperthyroid, but for different reasons.  Some of the other tests will tell you if your thyroid levels are high or not.
