I’ll answer with real-life examples.Walk to someplace in your city/town/region noted for its natural beauty, interesting architecture, etc., take pictures and compare. If you both moved there for school, it’s a good chance to discover new places. If you go to school in your hometown, it can force you to see areas you don’t normally visit. I did this with a friend after we’d both recently moved somewhere, so we got to know our surroundings better too.Go to a festival, especially one celebrating something new (food, culture, etc.) to at least one of you. One of my friends was an international student from India who had never had chili before. I took her to a chili festival where dozens of varieties were served, tickets were $10 for 10, and there were sample-size portions. We were stuffed by the end of it.Find an interest that, among your friends, only this friend has, and then do something involving it.
