Ba ba boo yao! Was a line in the movie Funny People. Translation?

The nearest I can up with is "Daddy, I don't want" Or "I don't want Daddy"

But I've never seen the movie so I don't know the context.

Why do Chinese dialogues in American movies often sound funny and unnatural, even if they are spoken by native Chinese actors?

For the same reason why English dialogues in Chinese films are laughably bad.Because the film is directed by someone who can’t speak the language, or speaks it very poorly. In American movies, when you have American people writing the scripts the Chinese is usually just directly translated. The American audiences usually can’t speak Chinese so it doesn’t really matter what the people actually say. It’s the same thing in China, people include English on things just to seem high class, and intelligent, right? Most Chinese people have no idea what that English says, so they assume it is right. Same thing in America, most Americans can’t speak Chinese so they just assume it is right.

In "Red Dawn" which side were the Chinese on?

yes. one of the kids ask "who IS on our side?" and the colonel says "about a million screaming chinamen."
"I thought there were a billion."
"there were."
then he throws alcohol on the fire. presumably ussr nuked china.

However, I've heard they're changing it in the remake. china and russia are allies. not really inline with history, as you've noted.

Do Chinese people like the USA in general?

We don’t like US government and it’s hawkish leadership, any anti-china policies, and China-against think-tanks etc.But we like American movies, film stars, famous singers like taylor swift etc.and also the american people’s funny questions about China, such as:Does China have electricity?Does China have internet?your guys are so fun~ hahahahahahahaha

Whats the horniest comedy movie ever made?

I think it is a tie between Porky's and American Pie. Both movies have teen boys who will do anything to get it. They are both very funny, but Porky's is better.

How does Chinese humor differ from American humor?

One thing I found is Americans (and Europeans) will come up with a crazy proposal, give fake answers, or just random nonsense things, but Chinese (and Asians) will take it seriously. For example, my friend drove by a food stand in Old San Juan and told us they sold the best ice cream, a Chinese girl on the car thought he was really recommending it.Or another friend (who is thinner than me) suggested to give me a ride on his non-brake-nor-backseat-self-made-bike in hilly San Francisco while we waited 30 minutes for bus. I thought he did mean it (maybe he did but regretted the last minute ;)).Or when I was in a long line waiting for get into New York State Arsenal, an American guy behind me picked up a piece of paper on ground and said "look I found a ticket", and his Chinese girlfriend answered "I don't think so". For me I found it funny, but I would not be able to keep on this joke by answering something of similar sense.(Edit) Most Chinese jokes are more explicit and linguistic. As I commented below, most Chinese audience are not big fans of comedies like 30 Rock or Arrested Development when characters acting stupid and awkward. The "stupid" comedy movies we have are under very dramatic settings that everyone can tell it is deliberated and can separate it from our own lives. You can say Chinese are more serious sometimes.A humor Chinese people do often today online is yaoi (rotten) jokes. It is influenced by Japanese culture and you can find it in some British and American TV shows like Sherlock. But I asked my American friends, no one knew what I was talking about.
