How to connect Wiimote to Dolphin Emulator 4.0?

I've used every information that I could find on the internet. So far I can pair it to my bluetooth but when I go to my Wiimote configuration it disconnects from bluetooth immediately when I try to pair it to Dolphin. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix? Also im using Windows 8.1

Is There A Good Wii Emulator?

https://dolphin-emu.org/ is a very good wii and gc emulator.
BUT there are 2 things.

1) dolphin can NOT emulate a wii motion plus. the wii motion plus is REQUIRED to play skyward sword. So this means you NEED to have:
-REAL wiimote w/ numchuck (needs to be official nintendo one, cant eb 3rd party and chienese knock offs)
-real wii motion plus attachment or the wiimote with it already built in.
-Bluetooth adapter for your computer to connect the wiimote to
-an IR sensor bar (you can either buy a usb one, mob a standard wii one, get a wireless one, OR you can do things like use candles or certain types of IR lights)

Also wii emulation is VERY VERY cpu demanding.
You need an i5-4670K or better to run it at full speeds. (you also may need to overclock it to get full speed in some games, or certain parts of certain games. i believe at the stock speed or around the turbo boosted speed should be enough for skyward sword).
If you want to play at higher resolutions with AA/AF and other filters on, you will also need a semi decent GDDR5 graphics card.

You can get a used wii for like $40, its probably a better option imo.

Wiimote Lag on Dolphin Wii Emulator?

I'd check the Bluetooth connection/connector. If it is a little plug in one that goes into the USB port, I'd make sure to use a USB 2.0 port, and that it has the power it needs - I'm not too sure, but other high power USB devices may be causing the receiver to lag.

It's also possible that the problem is with the computer (not trying to insult your computer). Go ahead and try another computer if you can.

Hope this helps, but if all else fails, you may need to downgrade to a standard USB gamepad.

Edit: Ahh, it's built in? I'm not too sure what to do then (as displayed by my previous response). You said the problem occurs with 2 devices hooked up at once, so my only solution is to play solo, although you already said that works...

How can I play on the Dolphin GameCube emulator using my computer's joypad?

Plug in your controller and ensure it is working.Run Dolphin.Click GCPad icon near the top right of the Dolphin window. In Pad 1 tab, open the dropdown "Device" menu and select your device. It may be listed as something like "XInput/0/Gamepad".Once you have selected your device, click the button fields to assign each button to your preferred input. Do the same with the sticks etc. When you're done, click Save near the top right of the config screen and name your profile. If you're playing a Wii game, as opposed to a Gamecube game, it will need to support the Classic Controller or you'll need to have set up Dolphin to work with a real Wiimote. To configure the classic controller ;click Wiimote on Dolphin's main menu, choose "Emulated Wiimote" from the dropdown menu by Wiimote 1, and click configure. This will bring up a screen similar to what we saw before for the GCPad. This time, you will want to find the dropdown menu titled "Extension" and select "Classic". Click the configure button directly below it and set your controller up as before.

Alternatives To Wiimote?

I am wondering if there is an alternative to the Wiimote, which allows for a more classic interface? I would rather use a classic type controller, rather than the Wiimote to play Wii games, and navigate menus. I know the GameCube plays SOME Wii games, but I want a controller that will allow me to play Wii games, without using the Wiimote or Numchuck attachment. Any suggestions on what might work for this?

Does dolphin emulator for wii support motion sensors ?

Dolphin does support Wii remotes. You just need an infrared sensor and bluetooth support for your computer. There are bluetooth adapters you can buy from like any computer store.

As for the sensor, you can either use the one that came with your Wii (plugged into the Wii just to power it), or you can buy a battery-powered wireless one. Actually, you can basically use any source of infrared light, even a pair of candles.

As for PS3 or Xbox games, there's no way to play them on a PC. Emulation of those consoles is much more complicated than anything from the previous console generation.

Does the wiimote work with xbox kinect as a sensor bar?

I ve been playing all the zelda games recently on emulators and now it s time to play skyward sword on dolphin emulator. Previous games all played fine with a xbox 360 controller but skyward sword is played with the wiimote, I own a wii and wiimote and sensor bar but i want to play on my pc without having to use the wii in any way. If i plug in the kinect sensor in my pc and connect the wiimote with bluetooth, will the kinect then act as a sensor bar? ( the only thing the sensor bar does is emit infrared right ? )

Can I play zelda twilight princess on a emulator?

Yes you can with the emulator Dolphin.

However, wii emulation is improving, but still is not all that great.

to play from a disc you will need to acquire a backup of the game, or use a .iso file. (PM me on info on how to do this if you wish.

Then there is wiimote.

You can use an emulated wiimote (built into the dolphin emulator) which allows you to use your mouse and keyboard as a wiimote.

Or you can use a real wiimote.

The wiimote communicates with the wii using bluetooth technology. To use this method you will either need bluetooth technology built into your computer, or a USB bluetooth dongle

I recommend a USB dongle as it will pretty much serve as your sensor bar.
