Germany Changed Its National Plane Colour What Was The Colour

Why did RAF planes have the French tricoleur on their tails in WW2?

They didn't. They had  the British national colours, which happened to be the same as the French, but in inverse order. You can see that more characteristically on the roundels, where the British have blue on the outer circle and red on the inner one, whereas the French have red on the outside and blue on the inside. Likewise, on the tailfin, the Brits had blue towards the back, while the French had red towards the back. Why did WWII German fighter planes have swirled paint jobs on their propeller hubs?

Almost ALL aircraft propeller hubs (and jet engine hubs) have swirled lines drawn around them. GE and Rolls Royce, amongst others, have ascribed various reasons for having them, and anecdotal evidence suggests that these IS a logical reason for having these doodles. In flight, these swirls patterns flicker as the engine rotates at high speed. It is presumed that this leads to scaring away birds, and allowing them to fly clear of the engine, much before they can hear the sound of the engine. The second reason has to do with showing the direction of propeller/turbine movement (and whether it is running) to the pilots, and the direction it is meant to be rotated in (specifically older aircraft) for the engine to be powered up, since many old piston engined aircraft were started by hand.Even when parking a modern airliner, the crew lead guides the aircraft using aircraft marshaling wands. When he/she turns both tip toward each other, the crew set chocks around the wheels. No maintenance staff moves towards the aircraft until that crew lead can see those spinning spirals clearly in all engines. ONLY then does that lead clear the crew to continue operations and begins working with flight crews. The third reason for the swirl pattern is due to public safety concerns. Transport aircraft were easily accessible on the runway in old days. Passengers were greeted by public on the tarmac. Furthermore, Many people with poor hearing acuity could not hear a running engine. In addition to this, maintenance crews wear ear protection gear, and it was presumed that this makes it harder for them to “hear” the spinning propeller. At times, it is hard too see (and hear) a dark colored propeller spinning at low RPM during dawn and dusk.

Can I change my MOS before my Army contract ends?

Hello. I really don't want to sound like a jerk but please only respond if you know the answer and please don't leave post like. *Talk to your recruiter, or talk to the counselor* they have done nothing but lie to me.. I am NOT color blind and according to meps I am. so my counselor told me to go to a private dr and retake the color test and they will update my profile and then I can renegotiate my contract. I retook it and I passed. I then submitted it like the counselor said, and now he tells me they will not accept it.. I wanted infantry and I can not get it. I took 15P Aviation's operations specialist. I was also told that the color blind test is ONLY for initial entry and that I can go infantry once I am in the army? Is this true? What are my options? I leave for basic December 30th. I was also told that because I did a 3 year contract that I can reinlist after one year and change my MOS. Is this also true? I appreciate any help. and sorry if it is confusing.

How does one country "take over" another country?

like in war i don't understand how it is declared when one country has officially "taken over" and "rules" a country they have invaded.. also what is the benefits of ruling another country.

for example in world war 2 how did hitler take over poland and norway? i just dont get it :(

How important is racial identity to you?

It is completely unimportant to me. Since my race doesn't determine who I am as a person.
It has no influence on my personality, my ideas or my moral values, so it is of no significance to me, other than for genetic or biological purposes.

I believe that the ideological bases of racial pride or identity are the same as in racism.
They are both based on the idea that certain races have some inherent moral or intellectual qualities, positive in the case of racial pride, or negative in racism.
And they both consist in taking pride or shame in the accomplishments or failures of others.

I see no reason to identify with something that I was just born with, that I didn't choose and has no influence on who I am. My race is just a random characteristic, and I wouldn't befriend or favor someone just because they share that same random characteristic with me.

If the BMW symbol represents a spinning propellor in Bavarian national colours, what German aircraft or their engines did they produce?

First of all: Contrary to popular belief the BMW logo does not represent a spinning propeller. It simply is a small part of the typical Bavarian white-blue checkers pattern.BMW was founded in 1917, when the owner of the Rapp Werke decided to change the name of the company. Prior to that, Rapp Werke had acquired several other small manufacturers of aircraft engines. When BMW was founded, aircraft engines were their only products.BMW aurcraft engines became famous when the German Army ordered 2000 units of an engine which powered the Fokker D.VII. This aircraft was regarded the best fighter plane in WW1.BMW began to make motorcycles and cars in the 1920's. This basically was a reaction to the Versailles Peace Treaty which banned German companies from making aircraft engines. In the 3rd Reich BMW was one of the major aircraft engine manufacturers for the German Air Force. Probably their most famous engine was the first jet engine built for the first jet fighter plane Messerschmitt 262.After WW2 BMW did not make any aircraft engines anymore.
