France and Germany vs Russia in a war?

I'd like to remind everyone that Germany has the largest economy and industry in all of Europe. Only the US, China, and Japan have more manufacturing power than Germany. To compare Germany manufactures almost three times as much as the United Kingdom does.

Russia on the other hand... Let's just say they've been knocked down a few pegs since the Soviet Union collapsed. Russia's economy and industry are nowhere near as strong as modern day Germany's.

France vs germany war?

(i am sick of these people saying germany when they know it would be france they got there heads back in wwii) france has just had a military reform boosting military spending to france giving them the hiest budget per solder and training. in this resent reform france got rid of all there army vicals and weapons from 80s and 90s and updated it to modern day weaponry france has the largest navy and air force even the "bloody uk" doesn't have that many (10k air craft ) they got the 3rd largest and most advanced arsenal of nucs in the world. (france is powered by 80% of nuclear generators and powers 50% of spain italy and 35% of germany so lol Therese that part) france is not wwii any more. its weapons rival that of China's and USA germany still buys there weapons from usa and so dose England/brittan.( FRANCE IS THE 4th LARGEST ARMS DEALER IN THE WORLD)

France will / would / and can win. just cuz they didn't hide crossed the Water in wwii dosent make them week...

Who would win in a war between France and Germany?

Ignoring the geopolitical consequences of this:France.Germany’s military is a complete mess. Many Germans do not even want a military, and there have been all sorts of scandals where their soldiers underperformed at NATO exercises, or sent letters to the German government complaining of working more than the federally allowed work limit…German army quits NATO training exercise after exceeding overtime limitsI am pretty sure that if Germany and Poland went to war, Poland could plausibly win.France’s is still capable of performing operations without US help, and has recently in Mali and other countries in North Africa (for one example, see Operation Serval, for another see Operation Barkhane).France basically has one carrier group, nukes, a large force of airplanes, some cargo planes and with all of this equipment, some global reach they can use to fight conflicts in Africa. All of this so far is ignoring their actual military sizes and equipment. Comparing the two countries on List of countries by level of military equipment shows that is also slanted in France’s favor. The only way Germany could win is if they defended themselves for years, and during this war, the German public became more hawkish.Germany does have a bigger economy, and bigger manufacturing base than France. The chips are in place for a powerful military, but the German public is very hippy.

Who would win in a war between present-day Germany and France?

They would both lose and lose. Why? Because with today’s weapons systems the damage to their civilian and government infrastructure would be horrendous. Neither country has that large of an army any longer, so their air forces would pound away. If France were dumb enough to use their nukes the resulting radioactive cloud that blew back over their country would eventually kill as many French citizens as the bombs themselves killed Germans.

Would Great Britain and France defeat Germany in modern day war?

Easily, although they have spent 70 years re-designing Europe so they don’t have to think about such horrible things. The German army and air force could easily be defeated by the French army air force along. It is too small to even cover Germany’s frontiers, let alone defeat an invader. Equipment is not up to scratch and everything is underfunded. No nation in Europe is equipped to fight a major war on its own. This is a feature, not a bug. It has been a major goal of NATO and the EU over the decades. The Europeans like it this way and it is a relief to the rest of the world that Europe, regardless of how belligerent some of its nationalist parties might get, is not a threat to itself or the rest of the world.

Who would win a war Germany vs USA?

I don't think Germany would win outright. I think that if we meet them on the field of battle, we would get pounded pretty badly at first. We might even end up in Britain's situation where German bombers bombed the streets day and night. However, I think the U.S. will do what it always does in times of crisis. It pulls together and the war machine starts up. It'll pump out weapons, men, and technology fast and without pause. It would be long and hard but I think the U.S. would win.

Who would win a war between U.K and Germany?

Presently? Ok, this’ll be interesting. I was going to do a huge analysis, but I got too tired, so I’ll summarize the three branches - Army, Navy, Air Force.Army: The British decisively outnumber the German Army, but field inferior AFVs - Challenger IIs have great armor but relatively bad guns, while Leopard 2A7s have great armor and great guns. Same thing with UK Warriors vs German Pumas and Boxer IFVs. Germany is lacking in ground-based Air Defense, however - Germany has to rely on Stingers, 4 MANTIS systems, and 14 Patriots, while the UK has an abundance of Starstreak and Rapier SAMs.Navy: The UK has 11 nuclear subs, vs 5 German, 3 Amphibious Assault Ships vs 0 German, 6 Destroyers vs 3 German Destroyers, and 13 Frigates vs 7 German Frigates. However, Germany does have 5 Stealth Corvettes and 4 missile boats, while the UK has none. In all of these cases, Germany seems to have the quality advantage, but, again, the UK has more. The UK is also building two Aircraft Carriers, but these won’t be in service for a while.Air Force: Both Air Forces operate the same/similar aircraft. The UK has 137 Eurofighter Typhoons, vs Germany’s 120 (though they are actually buying 23 more) and 98 Panavia Tornado fighter-bombers vs 93 German Tornadoes. In conclusion, I think that the UK, having a far larger army and a far larger navy, would triumph in a UK-Britain war. This is because that, since the Cold War ended, Germany has been extremely reluctant to militarize - they don’t want to be branded Nazis, do they? Also, there are very few threats to Germany in europe - they would depend on the US and NATO if Russia invaded, and Russia would have to get through Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland first. However, the UK has had a long history of a relatively large military, and they don’t have a modern reputation of warmongering like the Germans. These traditions, plus the UK’s policies of interventionalism, such as in Iraq and Afghanistan, allow it to have a larger military.Give Germany a conceivable threat in Europe, however, and the situation might soon become reversed…
