Getting A Nose Piercing

Can you get a nose piercing if you have a cold?

i was thinking about getting my nose pierced tomorow but when i woke up this morning i had a cold (stuffy/runny nose and sneezing alot). i was wondering if maybe i just took cold medicine to clear this up if i could still get my nose pierced tomorow?

How long after getting a nose piercing can I drink alcohol?

I don't think it makes much difference. I have drank moderately before getting each of my piercings, including nose, and the (very professional and good) piercer has known about it. I think there needs to be a lot of alcohol in your blood before it has any significant effect. If you're worried, wait a few days, I don;t think it matters though. If it's going to bleed, it's going to bleed, it won't affect the healing much anyway.

Nose piercing questions?

Okay. MAKE SURE YOU GET IT DONE WITH A NEEDLE, NOT A GUN. That's the most important thing. With a gun you have a chance of getting nasty diseases and infections. With a needle its more clean and sanitary, make sure they open the needle infront of you!

-Yes you can take a shower.
-Blow it like normally, it hurts for the first week so don't push down that nostril. If you have to, pick it.
-Clean the piercing or nose? Nose, just pick that side lol. Piercing, get a qtip and take whatever they give you and clean around it inside and out!
-Your nose starts bleeding? Lol
-There will be a big pimple like bubble. If that happens, go to your doctor to get an antibiotic ointment.
-Read above.
-I used a q tip. with the cleaner or you can use salt + water. Natural remedies are best!
-I have a pretty high tolerance for pain but that sh8t hurt! But boneslty, the pains worth it! So yes.
-A couple of months to fully heal.
-When you get it pierced your eyes will water and it will hurt for a while. If you keep on touching it its gonna hurt. But mine stopped hurting after a week or two.
-Not unless the piercings small. You can just pull it out... I highly doubt this will happen.
-Possibly. But if you take good care of it, its unlikely. Don't touch it all the time.
-Your choice. It depends what stud you get, theres different kinds.
-no you won't die. common illness? I'm not sure. An infection can get bad to the point where you'll have to take the piercing out and let the hole close

Hope I helped. A good tip is to sleep with medical tape on your nose when you sleep!!! Because mine fell out on the first few nights and it hurt a lot putting it back in cause it was a fresh piercing and plus your nose is very sensitive. Good luck! :)

Should I let my 14 year old daughter get a nose piercing?

I say absolutely. What objective harm would such an accessory create? Will she or anyone else be harmed before, during, or after? No, but instead she will have something that can boost her self esteem. Although it is foolish, I bet you can remember being that age and wanting to do, or wear, something that your peers and yourself perceived as cool. So, being that there is no objective harm, and it's not permanent; why not permit your daughter to satiate that naive desire to be perceived as "cool," thus allowing her to experience whatever it is she is looking to gain.

Should I let my 16 year old get her nose pierced?

Well then. That is rather a peculiar question.Well, If I wear the father/guardian of your daughter, I'd probably ask why she wants to get a piercing. Depending on the answer, I'd decide. But, it does seem that she wants to explore new looks and do new things. So, I'd give her a chance on explaining why she wants one, and actually start digging on the internet about the topic. After that getting a internet phd on piercings I'd let her get a simple piercing so she could try it out, and see of she can be responsible enough to care for that piercing.I cannot be the one who decides for her to get a piercing. However, in my opinion, I'd let her get one. Now, you MUST hear her opinion about piercings. If you just disregard her answer as stupid, she WILL get pissed at you for being a bad parent.Wouldn't you get pissed if your boss suddenly went at your face and said “Do me a favor and finish 30 more pages for tonight, over time.” and when you try to explain that you have to go home and take care of your mother and cook for your kids he just shuts your mouth by saying “Now or you'll get demoted.”.I'd quit that job to be honest. Sign whatever papers you'd need to get out and say “By fuck face. Enjoy your throne of lies and manipulation.”Now, don't be that kind of boss to your son/daughter. Hear her explanation, and calmly analyze it. Then calmly explain why she will have to wait until she's 18 or any other reason you give her. Please, be wise and don't say that what she plans on doing is worthless, stupid or idiotic. It may seem to be like that for you, but not for her. Just don't say that part and tell her to be patient and understanding of your decision. That's if you say no to her piercings. You are the parent. Not me Of course.I said all of this because there are too many parents out there which do the same thing to their sons. I hope you aren't one of those kind of parents.Regards.
