Getting A Usa Visa I Have Been Arrested 3 Times With No Convictions I Have Been To Usa About 12

I have received a letter from the uscis for my N400 interview appointment but im out of the states?

You have to have a current green card with 6 months left on it ...to get citizenship
if you have a case pending they will not do the citizenship interview until that is completed

a warrant is not a conviction you will probably be arrested on your return

I was arrested last year for shop lifting at superstore and missed my court date. please help.?

last year me and my friend got caught shop lifting at superstore in surrey BC on march 12/2011 (at the time we where both homeless and hungry) anyways we got caught stealing about 20 bucks each worth of food by the security they detained us and called the police. when the police arrived they asked us our names we both lied i said my name was lance davis and got a obstruction of justice charge on top of the shop lifting charge. the police took both me and my friend to the station where we where booked and finger printed. we both spent 2 days in the holding cell until we where released when they released us they gave us a set date to appear in court. i went to my court appearance, duty counsel then gave us the option of probation or community service he told us to come back in exactly one month from this date with our decision of what we wanted to do. after that one month went bye i wasnt able to make it back to court since i had moved to sask for work and a better life so i missed my court appearance. over the course of the next 3-6 months the government called me everyday at lunch i never answered. im wondering how much trouble i am in did i commit a felony crime? does shop lifting + obstruction + failed court appearance = jail time? or will i have to go back to the holding cell until a new court date is appointed to me? what can i do to get this all cleared up?. i can not afford a lawyer. i am 19 years old i had just turned 18 on the day of my arrest last year. i understand there is a warrant for my arrest would it be provincial wide or canada wide? will i ever be able to leave canada with my criminal record? please help it is greatly appreciated

Can a non-US citizen inventor who filed a patent application (PPA) Immigrate to USA under a Special visa ?

I've read about the special immigration visa that United States of America Issues to very special people who are skilled in various fields such as Math & Physics.
Special Immigration visa also can be issued for persons with High IQ with special

What about Inventors :
will people with power (entrepreneurs, consultants ) in the usa inform us embassies over the world
to make them issue a special case visa ?

Or

will the inventor fill a special case visa for immigration, and submit it alone

Or

there is no special case visa for inventors who admits their projects for patients in the name of other foreign country, usa in specific ?

How long can a citizen of the US live in UK without visa.?

Their website will say you can legally stay for 6 months...however unless you are independently wealthy and can prove it, you will most likely get bounced back to the US without being allowed entrance if you have a return flight for 6 months time. Here is a link you may do well to read over. It talks about Americans getting bounced back to the US.
http://londonelegance.com/transpondia/us...
Take a good look around that site and at the different links. The UK is known to sending Americans back without entrance if you even raise the smallest red flag.
Yes you can drive in the UK with your US drivers license. However driving in the UK is NOTHING like driving in the US. Not just driving on the left, but road rules and signage are totally different.

Good luck. If you have any questions just email me.

Time to re-enter US after voluntary departure?

zonryzita and others..thank you for the replies. here was mysituation. i was an international student in cleveland and worked illegally to payoff my tuition fee and was caught by the immigration officer. there was a case in the immigration court and i was granted voluntary departure and the good thing was judge let me complete my graduation. i have complied with all the voluntary departure procedures. Now i would like to re-enter USA on H1B visa and trying to confirm with the bar on voluntary departures. ..as zonyzita said if the fingerprint scanners would showup record then i guess i cant make it overthere anymore. but i was told that the whole point of voluntary departure is to keep your records clean. however, its very nice of you all...i am never going to enter US or anyother country illegally.

How would a consular officer adjudicate a visa applicant with an arrest record from the US, but the charges were dropped?

Is your question, “how would a consular officer adjudicate a visa applicant who was arrested while visiting the US previously but the charges were later dropped?” This opens a can of worms, but I will try to give you a short answer (or try). Arrests can be expunged, but not convictions. In today’s connected world, that arrest will always be accessible to everybody, especially consular officers. You should try to get the arrest expunged, if in truth you were innocent. You should be aware that the consular officer is likely to see this arrest and is likely to ask you questions. There is the principle of innocent until proven guilty, but the consular officer has the right to deny someone if they are concerned they could be a public safety threat in the US. I don’t know what sort of arrest you are talking about: Was it having an open container on 7th Avenue in NYC during New Year’s Eve (something I’m guilty of) or was it something more insidious like stalking someone or being in possession of drugs or child pornography? I think you get my point.

Why did Suzette Nicolas (Nicole) move to the US with her American marine bf?

After her horrific ordeal and the fact that she has been the face of anti-americanism in the philippines, wouldn't you think she'd want to avoid living in the US? And I thought she hated the marines for what they did to her? So, why did she move to the US with her marine bf?
