Cat in wedding as flower girl!?
I think having the cat in the wedding would make the wedding truly her own. Since your friend is a cat trainer and has a cat that is up for the task, it seems perfectly appropriate to have her cat as a flower girl/ring bearer. The guests who know your friend would probably think it's cute and wonderful that she's getting to make her cat a part of the wedding. And having the cat there will probably make the wedding seem very "her" (meaning your friend.) I train dogs who perform on stage, in parades, book releases, etc. People keep asking me if I'm going to include my dogs in the ceremony. At first I was really planning to. Eventually, I decided against it, because I didn't want them to be overwhelmed at the reception and I didn't want to have to worry about them during the reception, or have them in a crate somewhere they're not familiar with. If I did have the dogs in the wedding, though it's not typical, I think the people who know me would expect it and love it. It would probably be the same for your friend. She doesn't have just a regular house cat. She had a professional cat. If she would like to have her cat in her wedding, there is no reason she shouldn't, as long as she thinks it's something the cat would be able to handle and be comfortable with.
Flower girl problems... Am i overreacting?
So my wedding is a month away and today i find out that one of my flower girls wont be in the wedding at all! Initially, i had two flower girl's: my niece and my fiance's niece. So my sister's husband decided to place his daughter in a school play, which is going to be on the same day as my wedding. He knew about my wedding day months in adance, and i asked my sister and her husband to have their child be my flower girl as soon as i had my wedding day set. So now she and her dad wont be at the wedding at all, and my sister will be there by herself. I think this is disrespectful and cant believe that family members would do that. Now my mother is furious at them and wants to give them a piece of her mind and also disinvite my sister from the wedding completely. i told her not to do that. The good thing is that i still have another flower girl . Do i have rights to be mad, should i tell them anything, or should i just let it go?

Flower girls versus jr. bridesmaids
You don't always need a flower girl. The 12 and 11 year old are junior bridesmaids , they are too old to be flower girls. A better bet than getting her to cooperate is to just deal with the fact that a 5-year-old (or any young child) cannot be counted on to do as they are asked on your wedding day. Have a plan to either have a parent or relative jump in and hold her hand down the aisle or to take her off to the side so the rest of the wedding party isn't held up by her antics.
