Getting Red Hair Bleached Out Tomorrow

Can I bleach my hair tomorrow after I conditioned it?

The conditioner will not adversely affect the bleach. I would recommend doing a test strand to see if your hair can hold up to the additional process. Cut a small amount of hair from your head. Tape the ends together. (Don't cut from the hair line, cut where it isn't noticeable.) Mix 1/2 teaspoon of the bleach, with 1/2 teaspoon of the peroxide together. Thoroughly coat the hair with the mixture, cover with plastic wrap. You really can't time a bleach, it has to be watched and tested. You can get a pretty good idea of the color just by looking at it. When it has reached the level of lift you want, remove the bleach with shampoo. Dry completely. Test to see if it still has some elasticity. If it is brittle and snaps when you pull it, then you will know that your hair will not be able to handle this process.
Good Luck!

Can i bleach my hair again tomorrow?

I bleached my hair today at approx 7 pm (ireland time) which was 6 hours ago now, (just incase time zones are confused) I had JET black hair, my natural color is blonde but i had been dying it black regularly for approx 3 years.. i bought 'Splat' hair dye in lusciuos raspberry.. it comes with the red dye, and bleach.. so I used the bleach and it was a disaster, top of my head was mostly white blonde, and orange, and my ends turned to a dark brown.. I then used 'Color Oops!' this worked GREAT to get the black out and even calmed down the top of my head, so my whole head is now brownish orange.. its not light enough to take the red yet, so would it be okay if i were to buy more 'Splat' bleach tomorrow? or is it too soon? i conditioned my hair really well after the bleach and was VERY soft however after the 'Color Oops!' it was quite dry but after more conditioning I have gotten it kinda soft/normal texture back.. i really wanna get this done tomorrow cause i don't like the orange yet I'm worried about my hair breaking? I hear it does if you put bleach on bleach.. so again, the question.. CAN I BLEACH MY HAIR TOMORROW AFTER BLEACHING IT THIS EVENING?

so sorry for the long question lol, any info would be greatly appreciated even other product suggestions maybe? thanks again :-D xox

Can i dye my hair dark brown tomorrow if i bleached and dyed my hair bright red today?

i used splat hair dye. the red one. i bleached my hair, and then dyed it. it came out kinda weird. the roots kinda look pink and the rest of my hair is super bright red. but it's not a very pretty red. at least, it doesn't look good on me. i'm not concerned on how bad my hair will be damaged if i do dye it tomorrow. (dark brown) because my hair is really healthy and whatever. i just reaaalllyyy want the red out of my hair. i don't mind if i dye it and it has a red tint to it. my questions is; can i dye it dark brown and will it change color? like.. it won't stay red, will it? the bright red that i have right now. and then i would have dyed it for nothing? will it actually turn brown? and also, i've read that if you dye it a certain brown, sometimes it ends up turning green. well, what color of brown should i dye it for it not to fade to green? and i just want a natural looking color of brown back. so yeah, my hair looks like a reddish pink. i want this out super bad! by like three days. can i dye it brown or not? will it stay if i do? remember, i just bleached and dyed my hair red today. i'll wash it out tomorrow A BUNCH to try to make it fade if i have to. but can i dye it by at least tomorrow night or the next morning? and i'm trying my best to refrain from going to a salon. so yeah,

Dying your hair after bleaching ?

I usually dye my hair right after I bleach it, but you don't have to bleach your hair. I dyed my naturally black hair red the first time I dyed it, and it came out a very vibrant burgundy (which was the color on the box). Permanent color lightens your hair as it dyes. Avoide bleaching wherever possible. If it doesn't come out right, just bleach it afterwards, or dye over it with a lighter red. Bleach fries the crap out of your locks.

My hair is a mess! Can I dye it again tomorrow?

I tried to dye my hair red with 2 boxes of regular drugstore hair dye but unfortunetaly, the only thing that came out red was my roots and the rest of my hair was still black. I had dyed it blue-black 3 months ago and I thought that it finally came off so I tried to dye it and it didn't work...
Could I possibly dye my hair tomorrow? Or will it make my hair fall off? Please help!
Btw, tomorrow is the first day of school and I'm scared of looking like a total mess..

Can you dye your hair if its already bleached?

Yes, you can definitely dye bleached hair. I do this for clients almost every day. But please have it done at a professional salon. There are good reasons for this:Store-bought box dyes are one-size fits all, or more accurately, one-strength-fits-all, meaning they are made with the highest concentration of chemicals so that they will work on most all hair types across the spectrum. Putting strong chemicals on bleached hair is damaging hair that has already been compromised. Even if it is “all natural” or “naturally derived” it is still very, very strong and can cause hair to break off or in severe cases melt off.Almost all salons and colorists will “tone” hair after bleaching it. This is simply using dye on bleached hair, but at a lower “volume” or strength, to add pigments that shift the blonde color in certain directions (platinum, sandy, icy, strawberry, etc.) away from plain yellow and orange. This is completely normal. If you want to go DARKER, you can use a dark brown or black ammonia-free hair dye (semi- or demi-permanent) with a low-level salon peroxide developer (generally 6-10 volume) that simply deposits color on your lightened hair. Professional colorists should also mix formulas that “fill” the hair with missing pigments that were lost during the bleaching process so that the end result looks natural and not muddy, greenish or grey.If you want to go LIGHTER you will need to bleach your hair again. I recommend waiting at least two weeks MINIMUM between bleaching sessions to allow your hair to recover. I definitely do NOT recommend trying to use a lighter-colored dye on your hair, which could cause extensive damage and will likely not turn out anywhere close to the desired color.Direct-dye fashion colors such as Pravana (without ammonia or peroxide) and temporary vegetable dyes (such as bright pinks, reds, blues and purples) are generally safe to use on bleached hair. The only downside is bleached hair is technically compromised (damaged) already, so bright colors will fade quickly and require regular upkeep. So yes you can, but please be careful and choose a dye that will not cause further damage.

Does chlorine affect the color of hair after dying it brown?

Chlorine can affect the color of your salon colored hair. Chlorine is a bleaching agent that can cause high lighted hair to turn a greenish color.Chlorine would NOT change your brown colored hair turn green, but it could and would dull the color, dry out, and loose it's gleam. To protect your hair, wear a swim cap when you go swimming. Get the hair wet with shower water, apply the conditioner, do not rinse. Twist the hair like a bun or such and then put on the swim cap. If you don't get a swim cap, wet your hair in the shower before entering the pool so your hair does not absorb so much of the chlorine, apply conditioner, and rub it throughout your hair. The conditioner will coat the hair to help resist the chlorine while you swim. When you have finished swimming, use a chlorine removing shampoo once a week. Two major brands of "swimmers" shampoo is Malibu C and Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3. All of this should give you the most protection.
