Well it is Secret Santa.............so who would know? I liked the ex-lax cake idea myself even though it got a thumbs down. The question was a gift for an enemy? Not a question on "good will toward all men"........ Will it be opened in front of the crowd? Get him a self help book on personality.
Is $50 enough for wedding gift?
You give what you can afford. Do not go into debt for a wedding, whether it's yours or someone else's. A gift is not even mandatory for a wedding - at the very least, give them a card. Plus, as a bridesmaid, you've already devoted a lot of time and money to participate in their wedding. It's bad enough if a pair of newlyweds gets angry if a guest doesn't bring them a gift/a "good enough" gift, but if they have the audacity to be mad that you're not spending even MORE money on them, then I'd seriously reconsider your friendship with them. Give what you can afford and don't feel bad about it.
Is it a good enough idea to gift a formal shirt as well as a "war strategy" book to your younger brother who just got his first job?

I like your plan of gifting him a book along with a formal shirts . i’ll recommend you both the shirt and book .Shirts are also an essential part if wear properly will give you a gentle look , recently i gave a formal shirt to my dad on his birthday , made with fine fabric and that too at an affordable rates from Andamen group . They are the best when it comes to shirts , they have huge variants of formal shirts made with fine fabric.Now coming to book point , why you are focused in gifting him a war strategy book , though i agree military strategy is similar to corporate strategy , but if you could gift him a best selling book on corporate strategy .i.e. corporate chanakyai feel that will be great.hope , i am of help !

Like others said, a tad sad and creepy.Gifts in general are not a bad idea. However, good gifts tend to be gifts that you give to people that somehow reflect something about them.A girl likes flowers, you can give them flowers. A guy likes art, you can give her art.You are just making a random gift for a woman you have yet to meet AND you already even have the schedule to match. Don’t you see how that sounds really, really odd? If you told that to random girl you might date, expect her to likely stop dating you.It sounds like you are lonely, or have not had a lot experience in the dating world. Do you have a lot of friends? I would assume that you do not or have not talk to them about this since friends would have talked you out of it.Look, as far as your question, you really need to change your perspective on how you see dating.
