Ideas for wedding gift?
I'm going to a wedding Sunday. It's my boss from a previous job I still keep in touch with marrying another guy from that job. He's in his 50's, she's almost 40. It's his 2nd marriage. She's a pharmacist & makes well over $100k a year so she has everything she'd ever need & more. They're not traditional people & giving them like a toaster or blender or some other kind of typical wedding gift would just be weird. Plus she already has all that stuff anyways. They have no registry, All they said in the invitation is gifts aren't necessary but if you'd like to get something, get a Lowes or Home Depot gift card. (She just bought a new house in the country so I guess for materials to work on it) I'm a stay at home mom so I don't really have much money of my own & I really don't want to do a gift card b/c then it's obvious how much you spent. Any ideas at all will be very appreciated!
Any idea for a Valentine's gift to my husband?
Well, it's very hard to choose a Valentine's gift for my husband. More details: - he's 41 years old, but looks only 32, - we're newly wed - he's got everything he needs lol, I already gave him a mobile phone and a golden manly bracelet on 2 different occasions, he has tons of perfumes, many clothes, watches, etc... - he's so generous with me, but it's easier to choose a gift for a woman, we're high maintenance ;) - he's soooooo into kits related to fishing (diving, fishing guns) he has the whole outfit set, and I know nothing about that stuff :S Any ideas would help, thanks and happy Valentine's week ;)

I have very painful periods. Almost all my body parts right from legs and back to my head and belly, pain like hell. I cry and cry a lot because of that unbearable pain.It had been 10 months since we were dating, his parents were out of town for 3 days so we decided that I will stay at his place. We were watching a movie in the evening and suddenly I felt something. Yes, I started bleeding. I got up and went to the washroom. He was standing outside and asking again and again if I'm okay. I came out and told him that I got my periods and that I need sanitary pads now. “Give me 5 minutes, I will go and buy them for you. Just tell me which one do you use.” he said while changing clothes in hurry.“Whisper”, I replied.“Okay you take rest, I will be back in 5 minutes”,he said kissing my forehead.I was sitting in the floor waiting for him. Pain was growing and I couldn't handle it anymore. I laid on the floor holding my tummy with tears in my eyes.He came with the pads and picked me up ,wiped my tears and took me to the washroom . “Don't lock the door" he said.I nodded.I came out after 5 minutes and I saw him standing there with a hot water bag in his hand. He came to me held my hand and said, “I know it's hurting you badly. Just lay down and let me comfort you.”I was lying on the bed and he was sitting beside me. He gave that hot water bag to me and told me to keep it under my back and was rubbing his hand over my stomach so that I don't feel much pain. Yes and No..As already answered, it depends on the personality but a lot of other factors are there too..I m a doctor married to an engineer. Initially my family was a bit hesitant but my husband convinced everyone that he ‘ will take care of everything ‘Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out so well.He is a good guy at heart and wants to do best but he becomes rigid if things dont go his way.For example ; I cant work in the city he lives and he is not happy if I move to another place..Then is the question of in laws . I guess they arranged the marriage to get a ‘doctor bahu' , for showing off .Since then my being a doctor is forgotten by everybody.I left my career to be with him but they dont appreciate that .There is always complaints about how I should have stayed at the sasural and took care of his parents .If that was the case y get a doctor for ur son? U should have got a homely girl or better still a maid .I would have left him if it wasnt for my daughter who we both love very much.Now when I finally got an option to work in a city where we both can be together; he wants to bring his parents and schizophrenic sister ( divorced with a child) along to live . I refused knowing both of us will be working leaving our daughter in care of maid and the inlaws and if something happens ; who will take responsibility?Ultimately I would be advised to leave work again as ‘ family is more important than career'So I have decided take a big step and move to my work city with my daughter.
