Well, the cliche is that girls like "tall, dark and handsome", and there is some truth to this. Dark, brooding features tend to be seen as more dangerous, masculine, etc. However, in my experience, girls who have lighter features themselves, prefer them in men. I had a friend with blonde hair and green eyes, and she only ever looked at blue-eyed blond men (she is now married to one). Scandinavian men, as referenced in another answer, are also considered very attractive, and they are almost all blue-eyed blondes. Brad Pitt is a blue-eyed blond and he seems to do alright... So my advice is to go for girls with lighter features, or take a trip to Scandinavia, and you'll do great.

Having never been after one, I wouldn't know for sure, but I've always assumed it meant a tall, handsome guy with dark hair & eyes. I don't think skin comes into it - that is, they can be any skin colour. My preference...I guess I do like dark hair, but tall? No. I'm 4'10, and ideally wouldn't want to date anyone much taller than 5'8, but I don't really mind. Dark hair is nice, but so is blond, red, and any other colours that a guy's hair happened to be (whether dyed or natural). Handsome - well, that's different for each peron, and different on each person. For instance, It's possible to think one guy had an ugly mouth, and then find a very similar mouth attractive on someone who had an entirely different face. Basically, don't worry about it! All girls have different preferences. Just wait for your number to be called. :)

Every girl is different. Sometimes I like guys that are blond and blue-eyed, it's quite possibly, but I've always loved the tall, dark and handsome ones - Johnny Depp? Yes please. My boyfriend has jet black hair, pale skin and shimmery blue eyes. I have dark brown eyes, olive skin and very dark brown hair. People may have their preferences but I doubt you'll come across somebody that dates pale skinned blonds exclusively, y'know? Basically, don't fret about it!
