ever since i decided to stop shaving and leave some stubble on my face, girls seem to notice me more. some of them smile at me and a few of them even go as far as licking there lips in a seductive way when they lock eyes with me. I never got this when i was clean shaven. So can facial hair really give an appeal to a guy?

Yes, I think facial hair makes look men more attractive, stronger and confident. But, a lot depends on the individual preferences of women. I had read this article on Nycitywoman where women shared their views on men with and without beard. It said that women generally like men with a scruff or dense but short and well-shaped beards. But yes, unkempt and long, shrubby beards should only be kept at your own risk. Most women do not like it (there may be exceptions, though). See! No woman likes to end up with a beard rash after a long, hard kiss. Also, would you like to see yourself pulling strands of hair out of your mouth after a passionate kiss? NO, right? Neither do us women. So, while keeping a beard may be a great idea to add more substance to your look, but make sure it neither makes you look disheveled nor gets too prickly for your woman to handle.
Do most girls like facial hair on guys? do they like guys that have a goatee, beard, mustache, etc.?
A tiny bit of five o'clock shadow drives me nuts it the guy's got a nice, visible jawline. Beard? Nah. Mustache? Ew, no. Goatee? Maybe (most probably not.) And being clean shaven isn't a bad thing at all! Some girls prefer a little scruff, and some like the man's face as smooth as a baby's bottom. And don't worry about the whole "Oh God, why doesn't my facial hair make me so badass that girls will look at me?!" For the most part, we don't care. Have a great personality and confidence (as cliche as that may seem). THAT'S what attracts us. And no, it doesn't mean you're ugly. Just have more confidence in communicating with girls! Drives us wild. Side note: Facial hair OR clean-shaven face + spiky hair = No-no. Spiky hair (not a mohawk, just short, spiked hair) in general makes guys look like over-sized rambunctious 8-year olds. Guys looks better with their hair down or just a teeny bit of spike in the front. That's it. And I know this isn't the hair section, but I just wanted you to know, haha. =)

There are many reasons for a man to wear facial hair: to cover scars, facial abnormalities, to look older, or to just look plain sexy. I would say, however, for the most part, we do like men with facial hair if it is well groomed and SOFT. No one likes kissing a man whose face feel like his armpits. It leaves our lips feeling irritated and burned. So if you are going to grow it, keep it trimmed and clean and use conditioner on it! It really depends on what we are talking about here. Lets be rational about this. Body hair is natural. Having body hair induces a curtain level of carnal urges between the sexes. However, we are talking about natural areas with natural looks. Men love the look of soft clear skin. They love the elegant beauty of healthy soft flowing hair. However, you need to keep in mind that they also don’t want a mate that appears like the same sex. Why do most girls find beards unattractive?
