Updated World Record for Most Text Messages in One Month (One Billing Cycle)?

Yes, technically, atm, I, Andrew Acklin, hold the record for texts. it is at 19,678, although it should be at 25,056. The 182k one is false, it was a computerized system that did that. There are unwritten rules to the record, such as u have to text more than "ok" or "lol" etc. and u cant send mass texts out, or do alot of chain messages (once in a while is fine...)

Have a good day!

Want proof? search "Andrew Acklin text message record" on google, and goto the world records academy site.

It is possible to pull out the data for last 6 month, but it is legal matter, you have provide proper justifications with required a approval also as required by the operator.Or if you are using the on line login then it is available with bill details and no need to go any wherebjust you need to download the monthly bill and collected the details with single excel file and then you can use the same as per your requirement.

It’s said that iPhone only saves the latest 100 calls. If you have made fewer calls than that in last 6 months, then you may be able to retrieve the details. But this seems unlikely to most users.Actually, these deleted call logs are stored in a data base after being deleted. Then your iPhone will keep these deleted data until they get overwritten by the newly created data, which means you can never get them back if they have been overwritten. If they have not been overwritten, then you can try PhoneRescue for iOS to get them back. Just use it to scan and you’ll know whether they have been overwritten.https://www.imobie.com/support/r...

How sufficient is my HS record for admission into a good college?

Being the first in my family to go to college has allowed for my lack of knowledge about what would look good to good colleges, so the resolution of this question is extremely important to me, as it'll give me an answer about something that I otherwise wouldn't be able to get from family, friends, and peers. So I ask that you don't give me cruel answers, because there's really no need for them; I need and my question calls for helpful and guiding answers, not nasty and ill-directed ones. Thanks :).

Will 2010 be the hottest year on record?

If you give me 50% odds, I'll take the bet against, but not any lower.

Given that:

1. The general trend up of 0.013 degrees per year

2. That 2009 was only 0.08 off the record, and the previous year is a good predictor of the next year

(The standard deviation in year to year temperatures of 0.1 C. Accordingly, the odds would be roughly 20 - 25% chance of breaking the record.)

3. The head start in the first 3 months of the year (yeah, I know the eastern seaboard of the US got clobbered, but here on the west coast -- and much of the rest of the world -- it has been balmy). It makes it much more likely to be a record breaker.

This brings the odds up to around 50% (Do you apply your probability to 2009 or to the first 3 months of 2010? A weighted average and reducing the sd is the best way to make an estimate)

4, The record has been virtually stagnant since 1998 (2005 barely beat it out), so the record is vulnerable. Based on 1998, the new record should now be .15 C above the current record.

The hot start means that the world needs temperature to begin gravitating towards the mean, or to have a big cold streak at the end of the year (sports analogies all the way) to avoid a record.

Bottom line: Just about 50%, but if it does break the record, it could do so by a lot.

[For fun, I model sports predictions based on past outcomes]

Short Answer: No.Long Answer:Recording all incoming and outgoing calls of all the subscribers in their network places unnecessarily high demands on the service providers storage space. They would need millions more terabytes than they currently have to store all this information. And how long do they retain this information if they do happen to store it somewhere? The storage requirements mandate that they can't store it indefinitely.  But, all service providers have the capability to record your conversation if they so wish. The process is relatively simple and legal. And in certain special cases, for example if you are a person of interest in a government investigation for example, then yes, your calls might very well be recorded, both incoming and outgoing. The fact that service providers (Airtel, Vodafone, Docomo et al) do not record your conversations is not out of respect for your privacy it's because it's not worth it when considering the bandwidth requirements it would place on them. EDIT: Well, with the really really cheap cloud storage is it still too expensive for billion dollar companies to just store everything? Right now it is. Let's take Vodafone as a use case. Their customer base in India is roughly 150,000,000. Lets assume each subscriber speaks for 5 minutes a day on average, which is a conservative estimate. A medium quality MP3 audio file would be ~5MB for around 5 minutes of audio. But for arguments sake lets consider the lowest possible bit rate encoding or AMR encoding - which would allow us to store 10 minutes of audio in 1MB. This means, (Number of subscribers * Average Minutes ) / 1024 = Number of GB required/day(150000000 * 5) / 1024 = ~75000 GB/day. If we can store all this in Amazon's glacier storage (the cheapest in the world?) at 0.01 $/ GB (This isn't available in India by the way). we'd still need around 750$ or 45000 Rs a day! On storing data which has no monetized usage as of now. Source: 6 years of engineering telecommunications networks.

The primary subscriber to the plan can get a detailed monthly paper bill. In the bill is a list of all text messages sent or received broken down by phone numbers in the plan. Date, time, number of the other party and size of the text are documented. There is no way to get a transcription  of the contents of any message.

Last night this sms happened. I'm wondering?!?

There is this guy my friend has been seein for sometime now- 4 months to be exact. They have made out and they've been really intimate. The first month was awesome- he was so in love and so interested and really really romantic and so sexy. The next month was ok - him saying that he needed atleast a week's break between the nights sleepin with her cos that would get him more excited. When she wanted to sleep with him, he would be really 'busy' or 'tired' and when he wanted her, the girl was always available. Well, he is this nice guy, decent and all that, but somehow something's not right (I feel). Well, last night this guy was at work and she was at her place. She decided to send him a hot, naughty sms and sent him something about wanting to give him a warm bath and then wanting to eat him all up..well u get it rite?.. yea...she sent him two messages to his mobile and then nothing..no reply... She called him up and he said he'd reply..he laughed and he said..he was wondering watz happening??!!!! Well, she din send anything they've not done before!!! Then..she waited for 2 hours for his sms.. :( and finally decided to send him one final sms saying... "How long would it take for u to send an sms atleast sayin that ur not feelin like it today... or ur tired or somethin... (somethin else).... any girl would feel low if she was totally on and was not the least bit reciprocated... im hurt today..very much cos i believe that i deserve a response and its sad that u did not think i deserved it as well..somethin like that"... watz happening u guys.. i think my friend was right in telling him what she deserved and that he was wrong in ignoring her sms... What do u think??? What was going on in this guy's mind? I'm wonderin as well...

You can make a request to the service provider to get a itemized call details of incoming and outgoing. That’s the only way.To avoid this situation in future, you can install the apps (Assuming you are using Android) SMS Backup & Restore - Android Apps on Google PlayThis allows periodical backup of SMS, call logs and stores the copy in Google Drive as well as Dropbox. So you wont miss any logs.
