Go Blue This Weekend How To Get This Eyeshadow Look In 5 Quick

What color of eyeshadow goes with a grey dress?

My favorite eyeshadow to go with grey is a smokey purple in the crease and silver on the lid with a dramatic dark bluish/greyish (Lancome Artliner in Smoke) eyeliner. But black eyeliner would be perfect too.The silver on the lid is a tad dramatic, but that’s what I would do. If you wanted to tone it down a bit, use a pale grey or light pink tone on the lid instead of silver.

What mac eyeshadows are best for Blue eyes and fair skin?

I have blue eyes and fair skin as well, although my hair is dark brown. These are just my favorite colors which works well with my eyes and skin (I don't really think that hair colors matters that much when choosing e/s)

Mulch - A warm brown with cool gold shimmer (not glitter though) and it makes my blue eyes pop and it looks striking against fair skin. This eyeshadow matches Teddy eye Khol by MAC and they looks awesome together - or on their own. Mulch can be used in the crease, or it can make an awesome smokey eye all on it's own with just some eyeliner and mascara.

Patina - A really strange color...and by strange I mean that it's difficult to describe. It's like a warm and cool light brown with some gold and silver shimmer and it looks so pretty on the lid. It looks great on it's own if you just want a quick sweep of color across the lid, or you can use mulch in the crease and create a gorgeous bronzy look. Which again looks great against blue eyes and fair skin, and I think it looks particularly good against blonde hair which will pick up the warmth in the colors.

Mystery - A basic dark cool-toned brown. Just a staple brown color. I use this everyday with the following color:

Naked lunch - a super pretty pinky champagne color with shimmer ( I love shimmer :p). Looks amazing with any color in the crease.

Satin Taupe -a grey-y, purply, browny taupe color (du-uh). Looks great with naked lunch, patina or any shade really because it has so many shades in it so it will pick anything up.

Club - a brown shot through with green (a duochrome). Changes color according to the light etc. and looks great with blue eyes. Really makes them pop. Kristen Stewart (Supposedly) wears this a lot.

Ricepaper - a neutral goldy color. It's not a full-on gold, but more like a...yellowy champagne color. Def one of thos underrated shades which you don't know you need until you have it :p brings out the blue in the eyes and is great for everyday wear.

In addition to these, I really like paint pots (cream eyeshadows): Constructivist (kind of like Mulch but a bit deeper brown), Rubenesque (a goldy warm shade which contrast blue eyes beautifully), Bare study (champagne color) Indianwood (rusty goldy brown) and one which name I can't remember, but it's a matte light brown color, great for everyday wear when you don't havetime to stress with blending.

What Are Tips or Good Rules Of Thumb For Applying Eyeshadow? 10 points?

Lightest shades first (a few exceptions) but as a "basic rulee of thumb"

I want that palette so bad but I am still iffy about buying it!

If you need to be quick, 1-2 eye shadows.
Smokey eyes, 3-4 colors depending how dramatic you want it.

Only light colors on the brow bone unless you're doing costume makeup or something, or if that's how you like it!

To make your eyes look bigger and just to add a highlight/glow look you can take a light shimmery eyes shadow and put it in the inner corners of your eyes!

When you put colors in the crease it's to add "depth" or "dimension" if you want to achieve that I think colors 1-5 shadew darker than your base color are the most flattering. Then if you want to darken it up you can take color 7-10 shades darker and put it in the outer corner of your eye to add even more drama/depth.

You can layer colors to even things out/get the color you want.

You can take a skin-toned/matte colored eye shadow to blend out any harsh line.

REMEMBER TO BLEND! harsh line look really bad unless you know what you're doing (you'll see some people on youtube purposely create harsh line when they are being more artistic with their makeup).

You can use dark eyeshadow to line (instead of eyeliner) or you can use similarly colored eye shadows to smoke out/smudge eye liner.

Shimmery/Matte light colors like creams, peaches, and gold tones look best on inner corners and brow bones!

Play around and watch some videos on youtube. You will learn so much before your eyes! :) You'll be an expert soon.

I recommend xsparkage , hayleyistcb , heather123 , and makeupgeektv just to name a few :)

Beware because there are many fake people on youtube who are just using the beauty community to become famous and get money. If you keep your eyes open you'll easily see them. They're ruining the community.

I have one also but don't feel obligated to subscribe!

I need to make myself look sick, and quick, HELP?

This is probably going to sound really crazy, but go take a FREEZING cold shower. it will make your skin pretty pale looking.
and then wrap yourself in a blanket and put a ziplock bag of ice on your lower back. This will give you the chills.
And mess your hair up, and if possible make your eyes look glazey, but not like your high.
this should probably work. It got me sent home during midterms at school.

What are the quick makeup hacks that you follow in daily life?

As a college student who typically has anywhere from 3–7 minutes to do my makeup before class, I have developed a lot of tricks that help me look as awake as possible in the little time I have.Use a primer that is also a moisturizer and sunscreen.Sunscreen is a must every day, dry skin never looks good and primer helps keep makeup on much longer. By combining all three (mostly) essential steps into one, I save time and don’t compromise on taking care of my skin.Use a sponge to blend out concealer. In the words of Rihanna, concealer is “the cure for bags, dark circles, hangovers and bad decisions”- which means it’s a must for me every day. Blending it out with a damp sponge helps it sink more into my skin and not look cakey, which tends to happen if I use a brush.Use a hydrating lip balm instead of lipstick or gloss. For everyday, I have found it easier to use lip balm instead of lipstick or gloss because its easier to maintain throughout the day and keeps my lips from chapping.Always, always, always set your makeup.Setting spray definitely helps keep your makeup on longer and adds an extra bit of moisture, which is a bonus for me because my skin is so dry. Finally, choose your go-to look that saves time and prioritizes the parts of your face you want to emphasize. For example, I have friends who never go without lipstick, even if they wear nothing else. For me, that must is mascara, because I prefer to make my eyes pop even if I do nothing else.
