Yes, it is appropriate to bring a girt! Well, it depends on your relationship with this person. Is it a friend, a co worker, what? So based on your relationship -- you'll know what to get them! It doesn't have to be big and fancy... Just something that they will remmeber you by!

if im going to a drinking party at my friends house and there are probably going tp be about 15 ppl there, who all want to get smashed... do i bring my own alcahol or will alcohol be provieded by the hoster...? Do you have to buy a gift for a going away party?
If you go to the party, you should take a gift - but be thoughtful of the fact that she has to pack up & haul everything. No scented candles, no picture frames. A picture of herself with some of her friends is good, a Tshirt or cap from a local favorite place is better. I don't waste money on cards: a $3.50 card on a $5 gift is silly!

Once we've satisfied these things we can consider escape.So how do we ensure we can provide these things for ourself?Well, air, hopefully is a given. But maybe not.Shelter… well, having an axe would certainly make it easier to build a shelter.Water… where are we going to find it? What are we going to carry it in? How are we going to purify it to make it potable?Food… what are we gonna eat? Nuts? Berries? Legumes? Leaves? Meat? So what do I need to gather these? A basket, a bow and arrows, a gun and ammunition, a spear, a trap?So what single item would go some way to help satisfy all of these requirements?I think, on reflection of all this, I'd take my survival knife. I can use that to cut small branches to fashion a shelter. I can use it to fashion some kind of bowl which I can waterproof with resin which I can make from pine trees to carry water. I can use it to fashion a spear, or cut cordage to make a snare or trap and harvest meat. I can use animal skins to carry water. So now all I need to figure out is water purification. The last thing I want is dysentery while I'm stuck out here. I can make fire no problem, but what do I boil the water in? I can take two rocks and hollow the softer one out with the harder one to make a stone bowl which I can put in or near enough the fire. It'll be slow and tedious, but doable.So there we have it, my survival knife. It may not be big and fancy, it may not provide me any luxury, but with my own ingenuity and ability to adapt and think, my survival knife will make things a lot easier.

okay, so today at school, my friends began playing a game with me. this is a shorter version of how it went. friend 1: i'm bringing my towel. friend 2: i'm bringing my dog. friend 3: i'm bringing my Uggs. what are you going to bring? i had no idea what it could mean, so i just randomly said "i'm bringing a cake". then all of them said no, you can't say that. i kept asking them what the motivation/object of this game was, then they said that they can't say because that's what I had to figure out. Basically, they said, it's a game to confuse people who don't know/get the game. also, it has something to do with "umbrella", but that's about all i know. does any one know what this is?
B.Y.O.B. party questions??
BYOB means Bring your own booze*...so NO the host will NOT be providing your drinks for the night! that's why they've said B.Y.O.B..........so if you have no beer or booze to bring you will NOT be drinking*....can u imagine hosting a party n YOU having to supply everyones drinks? u wouldn't be able to afford buying all the beer to supply for all your guests, OR liquor*....so unless your friends can help you out with buying your beer/booze you WONT be drinking*
