Going To Start To Gather Parts For My First Desktop Build

I want to build my own PC. Do you think is it easy? And what all parts will I need and how can I go further about about?

Hi, honestly saying PC building is quite easy, difficult part is to finalised what you need and how much money you need to invest, for example Power Supply Unit start from Rs 300 and goes up to Rs 4K to 5K. Personally you first have to decide you want basic PC or some high end PC with fancy or high end branded parts. As of component, you would need: (Essential)1- Cabinet2- Power Supply3- CPU4- Motherboard5-RAM6- Graphic Card (Depend on your requirements)7- Keyboard8-Mouse9- Monitors10- SSD + HDDNon essential or for high end built1- Thermal Paste for CPU2- CPU cooling Fan (if want to go fancy can think of water cooling system)Extra - water cooling system for GPU3- Extra Fan for CPU4- Cable Management System5-Built in wifi system on Motherboard.Installation if not confident can be given to some person for minor cost of Rs 200–300Where as Original software is important sometime not consider in cost. All the component cost will depend on your need and specification for which you need to strike a balance.

I want to make a gaming computer. Parts advice? 10 Points.?

I want a $1000 budget on everything in the computer, including case. It has to be easily accessible inside so I can get to stuff and swap things in and out. It has to include everything I need for playing games from a disk, and preferably a WLan card or something too for games I have on Steam. Also a $500 budget on everything else to go with the computer, such as keyboard, mouse, speakers, headset.

It has to be able to run games like BF3 and be capable of playing any MMORPG.

I like pccsegear.com because it is an Australian site. Any other Australian websites are good as well, or computer stores in the Newcastle, NSW area. I do like newegg.com, but I will NOT be using that or any foreign websites because of shipping costs and some other reasons.

This is also my first time building a computer, and even owning anything other than a laptop, so if you could direct me to a site that will help me actually build it that would be great.

This might be a lot to ask, but 10 points best answer :)

All help is greatly appreciated. Maybe also if you could direct me to some place where I could learn more about these parts and what the specs of parts actually mean and how they differentiate from others. Thanks :)

How do I earn money to get enough to build/buy a gaming pc and games?

Hi there! I approve of your entrepreneurial spirit! It’s been over 15 years since I was in your shoes however it’s good to see someone starting their career early. At your age, I started working myself. As a bag-boy at the local grocery store. Not exactly glamorous, but it paid out and more importantly something I could do (within limits) for my age and lack of experience.Assuming 20 hours a week (this was a limitation put in place in my area to prevent kids from working and not going to school) and the National Minimum Wage $7.25/hr (Your local area may vary more than this), you could potentially earn up to about $100 to $150/week.4 weeks in a month… $400 to $6002-3 months of working and saving most of your pay and you can get a fairly respectable Gaming PC. Figure most gaming PC’s are going to start around $800 on up, the bulk of that cost taken up by a good Graphics Card (e.g. AMD RX480, Nvidia 1060).At your age, here in the US you will need your parent’s permission and will have to apply yourself, but it can be a good way to jump-start your career as you’ll have an established job history, whereas your peers will not. This will give you a leg up in the coming years in getting better jobs prior to your going to college and getting your degree. Also an excellent opportunity to save up for a car! Just remember a Car will mean Insurance and Maintenance and Gas. :)Good Luck!

Should I build a gaming pc or buy a pre-built?

I m not a hardcore gamer by any means, but I ve been wanting to build a decent enough PC to play games. The thing is I can t put together a build that doesn t go over my budget. I have very limited knowledge of computer parts and so picking them get s confusing.

The final price after shipping and all that has to be under $800. It would be doable if I didn t have to include a monitor, and that s the one thing I don t want to skimp on because I m tired of staring at my little laptop screen.

So, with all that said, since I don t need anything powerful, should someone like me just buy pre-built?

What are the dangers in building your own computer?

I'm not the most computer savvy person, and was just wondering the dangers of building your own pc not knowing all the parts and what they look like? From the information i've gathered, you can get a better deal building it yourself rather than buying a prebuilt, which is why I want to build one. I basically want a good budget gaming pc. Any help is appreciated.
