Good Earbuds. Wise Advice Wanted.

What should i wear to warped tour?

I've been going to warped for the last 8 years so here's my advice:

Shirt 1 - don't wear hollister or a&f or any of those brands, people will look at you as a youngin and do not wear a band shirt to show, just a cardinal rule of punk shows especially if they will be at the show

Pants 1 - you are gonna get hot and sweaty in the mosh pits which makes your jeans stretch out and get real loose so shorts or anything non-denim is your best bet

Shoes 1 or 2 - either one will work because you want as much coverage as possible, you will get stepped on A LOT

Accessories - none, they just get in the way. Long necklaces will probably get ripped off and if you wiggle your way to the front your body will be pressed up against the railings which makes those studs on your belt dig into your hips - major pain

Hope this helps!

Infantry or Admin (Marine Corps)?

Hey, I'm DEPing into the Marine Corps and am deciding between working in the Administrative field (pogue desk job) or Security Forces/Infantry.

I think admin mos would allow more "regular" hours not to say that anything is "regular 9-5 hours" but I think it would allow more time for education and travel with weekends and most holidays off. I know there are exceptions to the hours and days off, but in general, that's what I've learned.

I would also like the Security Forces/Infantry aspect, as I am one who also likes weapons and doing hands on things like martial arts. I'm very physically fit.

Main question is....when Infantry do daily training operations, do they usually wear ear buds during weapons training? I know it's expected, so don't call me naive, but do most of these guys have hearing or back problems because of weight carrying after 4 years enlistment?

Any advice or experience with either Admin or Infantry in Marine corps or any other branch really would help! Thx.

What advice would you give to someone who is moving to Harare, Zimbabwe?

It depends on your reason for moving to Zimbabwe.Given the current economic instability you would only be able to afford a normal lifestyle if your economic activities are from outside the country. There is a crippling shortage of foreign and local currency and availability.Because of a huge negative balance of payment situation it is now difficult to remit any foreign currency through the banking system. Should you wish to purchase or transact aacross borders it would be very difficult. The infrastructure has deterioarated significantly in the last few years and you would therefore be fraustrated to drive in Harare and other major cities for example. Water and electricity, which are readily available in stable economies are not always available on demand. If, however you are willing to overlook the daily inconveniences and are able to work with alternatives such as a generator for electricity and sinking a borehole for water then Zimbabwe is an alternative with relatively low crime rate and great weather. The upside is that property and the stock market is likely to appreciate significantly in the future when the political and economic situation normalizes. The challenge is that this upturn May take a really long time…….

Which is better, Bose or JBL?

This is a loaded question but I'm interested in letting you know my thoughts. Background: I have a lot of audio gear which ranges from the highest end soundbar and home audio equipment (Martinlogan Vision Soundbars, Martinlogan Motion 2 and 8) to midrange products (Boston Acoustics CR67s, Boston Acoustics A100, various Bose products, JBL Bar Studio Soundbar) to low end audio like Amazon Echos. The short answer is that it depends on your personal preference.I am not a huge Bose fan, but I do own several products from the company (Bose Triport Headphones, Bose Companion 2 pc speakers, Bose Soundlink Mini 2). Bose electronics are very reliable and products are built like tanks. Their customer service is outstanding. They are very consistent quality and the sound signature is predictable across their different lines. Their ability to get decent sound out of the most compact footprint is quite good. Most of this is done through equalizing thr sound to take advantage of the drivers to do the best possible from the footprint. However, Bose is not very good for clarity of sound or balance and most of it is mid-range quality (non audiophile). For example, dialogue sounds muffled to me in their surround sound offering and not anywhere as transparent as my Martinlogan gear. JBL annihilates Bose in sound quality comparisons between equal products.JBL has pretty good consistency as well, you just pay less for it in their consumer line. Their marketing team must not be as good because I prefer the JBL sound over Bose almost every single time, but Bose commands a higher price point. JBL is well respected in the audio world for accuracy of the sound, which is why it's found in movie theaters and music recording studios.Still, it is all about preference. Which ones sounds best to you? Which design do you like best? Do you like the Bose coloration and bizarre equalizing? For me Bose is sometimes good depending on the application. JBL is good almost every time. Overall I would pick JBL but I could see why others would choose Bose for their gear. JBL is more audiophile grade sound but some people don't care about that.

I'm handsome but I can't get a GF?

I'm 27 years and I consider myself "handsome and good looking" and many people, both girls and gay guys (I'm straight by the way) have also said I'm "very cute". I'm not trying to sound conceited though. Anyway, I live in New York City, which is the largest city in the United States, with close to 9 million people. I'm Hispanic. I was born and raised in NYC but my parents are from a Spanish speaking Caribbean country. So I don't understand how in such a huge city I can't find a GF. Yes, girls sometimes hit on me but it doesn't go past the flirting thing. And a few, very few I would say, have just wanted sex with me and nothing more. I've had two girlfriends but that when I was in high school, so it wasn't anything serious. But other than that, I've never been in a serious relationship with a girl. Many people say its because I have a baby face. I know I look younger than 27 but I have a few male friends that are 22 and 23 and they both have GF's. Even my brother that looks a lot like me and he's good looking too, he's 24 and even though he's single now, he has had two GF"s. Is there something that I need to change about myself or something that I'm doing wrong? What should I do? I'm not desperate but I do get lonely at times. Any advice? I'm also in college and even there I haven't met any girls. So I really don't know what to do

This is me by the way:

What is the best way to catch a cheating spouse who is very clever?

As a private investigator with a special focus on infidelity cases, I’ll first tell you some of the worst ways to catch a cheater. These are mistakes that our clients have made BEFORE they came to us.Confront the suspected cheater. In the history of cheating, this has yielded maybe a total of about 3 confessions (from cheaters who were about to confess anyway). All the others who were so accused simply denied everything, accused the accuser of being “crazy” and then tightened up their defensive precautions.Follow them. Unless he/she is completely clueless, it will take about 10 minutes for them to spot your face/your vehicle in their rearview mirror (ditto your best friend/brother/mom).Install some crappy, bought-it-on-the-Internet spyware on his/her cellphone. These apps usually give themselves away by displaying a notification or error message or otherwise screw up the target phone so that, when the owner takes it into the Verizon/Sprint/AT&T store for repair, the tech there will find your spyware.Discuss your suspicions with a friend or neighbor and outline what you are doing to catch the cheater. About 7 out of 10 times the person you confide in will let it slip in conversation (or on Facebook, etc.) and it will get back to the cheater. We’ve even had a few cases where the person our client confided in turned out to be the one their spouse was cheating with! But you asked for the best way to catch a cheating spouse and here it is: Hire a good P.I. This is doubly true if the cheater is clever. Select an investigator who specializes in infidelity investigations and has been doing it for more than a few months. Since your very future is at stake, it will be money well spent.Home#CatchTheCheater
