What is your review of A Brilliant Young Mind?
Well….intially….everything seemed pretty good. But the last part is not good at all (At least I think so).The name of the movie is 'X+Y : A Brilliant Young Mind'. The name suggests that the movie is going to be full of serious MATH Problems. But NO !!!!! It almost has no math problem. There are two or three questions which are unanswered in the movie.Only a problem from COMBINATORICS has a solution (though I didn't get it clearly).Besides Mathematics, the movie features the problems faced by an autistic child who speaks less but is good at Mathematics. But it also includes some unnecessary things like the drug addiction of Nathan's personal guide or teacher.What I disliked most is the last part. Is there any human being on the earth who walks out of the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) exam hall ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Well, in the movie, Nathan did.The conversation between Luke & Nathan was quite good. It had some really good lines.So….on a scale of 1 to 10, I'll rate the movie 5 or 6.Whoever asked the question or who'll read my answer, I'll recommend him/her to watch the movie him/her-self.
