How do I proceed with a game idea to bring it in to existence?

There are only two ways.Either you should work as a creative head, director of some video game company or if not(which basically is the case with you) then you need to start your own company (or more precisely you'll need a lot of money).Hope you are really passionate about it because it will take hard work for bringing that idea to reality. You need to start from the basics.First find some people who are willing to sponsor your project. As it is impossible to do all this on your own. All you need is money and for that money you need to ask for money from several people. It's for sure that many people will simply reject the idea ( as why should we sponsor your project). But if you are confident and really passionate about your project then sooner or later you'll find the people. All these people will demand is just profit on whatever the sum they gave you. And don't forget to thank these people (list of producers in credits).See for making any video game all you need is a concept and some way of showing others what the concept is. That is, you need to have some mediocre writing skills and drawing skills (although you can hire someone to draw for you). Only these skills and real passion will help you in finding some sponsors and from sponsors comes money. And from money you'll hire programmers, graphic artist, animation artists, writers, actors, etc.If you are into making some simple games(like flappy bird for android) then you don't need to go though all the hustle I mentioned. In that case all you need is some good programming skills (basically good command over languages like C++/java..) As these simple 2D games can me made by one person only. But this is very exhaustive (still less exhausting than finding sponsors)Consider this situation, someone comes to you and asks for some money because he is making a videogame, and he looks confident and you really like his stoy/concept/idea then would you be contributing to his project?

Do you have a cool idea for a game that doesn't exist?

Thanks for the A2A.My oldest has been learning to read in the last 2 years, and I haven’t been very happy with the reading games I’ve found. There are a few that try to teach technical reading skill, but they are too easily games by guessing to be effective at all.One interesting idea I had was a reading game that didn’t focus on technical reading skill, but on fostering a love of reading in the philosophy of reading rainbow. The game would be exploration, character, and story based there would be 4 or five different scripts for the dialog, each at a successively higher reading level. The game would be intended to be played every school year for a few years, so the same kids keep coming back to play the game at a higher level. At the lowest level, the story would be short and basic, like a storybook you would read to a child. At higher levels, the story would grow more complex as details that were not revealed at lower levels unfold. The villain of the story would start out as flat and stereotypical, but would slowly build into a fully 3D, fully fleshed out and realistic character with his/her own point of view and motives as the player passes through the various shared and unique story arcs presented at each level. Its something that I wished existed much more than I’d ever like to write or make. And, sadly, game makers don’t seem to care much about kids games.

Does MoparScape still exist?

Someone is always making a new copy of Runescape on a private server for one reason or another. Of course doing so is copyright infringement & Jagex sues them & has it shut down as soon as they find it. You also have to worry about the intentions of the server creator. Many were made simply to lure kids into insecure sites where their computers security could be compromised giving the server creators access to mommy & daddies information if it was on that computer.

Do they exist, Yes. Is it a good idea to use them, NO!

Does the game "WarioWare:Showing Off" for the Nintendo DS exist?

I heard that there was a game called WarioWare:Showing Off, and that Waluigi is in it known as "Weirdoweegee". This game was said to be released in 2009, but ever since then, I have never played, nor seen it in stores. I asked some people about it, and they said they had no idea what I was talking about, while others said its a fun game. So be honest. Does this mysterious game REALLY exist, or not???

Any good ideas for an icebreaker game at a gay friendly birthday party?

Make up a list of questions with yes or no answers, put chairs in a circle, have everyone sit in the chairs and begin asking the questions. Every time you answer yes, you move one chair to the right. If the person in that chair has answered no, they don't get to move so the person must sit on their lap. After several questions, there will be both empty chairs and chairs with four or five people sitting in them. It's both funny and a good icebreaker.
