Good Income To Live Off Of Alone

Can I live alone on 1500 a month?

I make roughly 1500 a month. My rent will be 800 a month... Along with food, bills I have no car. So, paying for gas isn't a problem. Is it possible to live on my own with my low income?

Is 45,000 a good yearly income living alone?

Yes. I make a little more than 10k less than you a year and still have a few hundred dollars left at the end of the month to have fun with/save.

It will pay the bills and then some.

Is 40k a year a good salary to live alone?

Any amount of income is fine as long as your expenses don't exceed your income. Set up a budget by looking at your past bills for say the past month. You can even use this to set up sort of a budget estimate for future months using worst-case numbers (what's left over could go into savings or maybe be for something special). The rule of thumb is not to let your rent/mortgage be more than 25 or 30% of your income but even that may be too much when you look at your own budget because everyone's situation is different. IMO the kind of apartment anyone should get would be as cheap as possible since rent money doesn't build equity-it just goes out the window. Obviously you want your place to be safe and meet most of your needs. How well you balance these issues is up to you. The more you save now, the faster you can save for a home and get into a place that's all your own, building equity and having all the benefits of home ownership has that renting never will.

What is a good income to live decently in Colorado Springs?

The U.S. Census Bureau reported in September 2017 that real median household income was $59,039 in 2016, exceeding any previous year.I believe it is possible to live decently in Colorado Springs with an income at or near the US median income.OTOH, don’t ask me how one actually accomplishes this feat. I have made considerably more money than US median for a large span of years, and still we regularly “run out of money before we run out of month”, so to speak. There are those among us who are perfectly nice people, intelligent, generous, diligent, law-abiding citizens, good at their jobs, and so forth, who are also just flat terrible stewards of their own wealth.I never came into a dime that I could not immediately think of some overwhelmingly excellent reason for spending a dime, plus another penny or two at least. One is reminded of Wilkins Micawber’s second principle:Micawber principleAvoid “Micawber’s trap” (at nearly any income level) and you can live happily in Colorado Springs, and perhaps decently into the bargain.

Is £50,000 a year a good enough salary to live in London?

It depends on your lifestyle, your tolerance for long commutes and how much you plan to set aside for retirement/savingsAccording to the "take home pay calculator" The Salary Calculator - Take-Home tax calculator, out of a 50k salary, you'll be left with 36.5k. Say 3k per monthHousing will be your biggest expense, and housing cost is inversely proportional to commute time (assuming work in central London). If you are willing to commute 1+ hour each way per day, you can probably live ok on whatever's left of those 3k. Don't forget various council taxes and utilities on top of the rent. And commuting is not cheap (depending on your commute, can easily spend 200 or more per month). If you are willing to share an apartment, you can probably live in a much closer/more desirable area. Also, don't forget, that if you are 1+ hour away from central London, even if you are "living in London", you might not exactly enjoy spending evenings and week-ends strolling around Kensington park or shopping in Mayfair (not that you could afford the latter, on a 50k//year salary, mind you)Best way for you to figure out is to use the 3k/month starting point and look at a site like Zoopla > Search Property, enter a postcode close to your work area, and see what you can find in your price range. Keep in mind that many place list the price per week (pcw), not per month(pcm) and there are more than 4 weeks in a month, on average. And that no place looks in real life as it does in those pictures (and the cheap places tend to have a lot of other non-desirable characteristics, like a noisy environment or bad exposure).Outside of housing and high cost of public transport, other costs in London are a bit higher than elsewhere, but not completely out of line: you can eat a good Marks and Spencer salads cheaply, and there are cheap eating options. Pubs are expensive, and there's no limit to how much you can spend in a restaurant, if you are so inclined. But there are also plenty of affordable places (for example, the delicious Franco Manca Marcherita pizza, a lunch in itself, is only 6 pounds, which is cheap by any standard. And you are comfortably sitting in a nice restaurant)

What is a good salary to live in San Diego?

Depends on which community you choose to live and your lifestyle of course. Most rents on a 1 bedroom, 1 bath might be between $900-$1,500 on average. A 2 bedroom, 2 barh about $1,500–$2,500. In the more expensive areas add an extra $200-$400/month. Average home for sale in a nice neighborhood is $650,000-$800,000.Gas prices finally came down from the high $4.00’s to the high $2.00’s. Expenses add up quickly when dining out frequently with many cocktails beginning at $11.00 up to even $22.00 for one drink. To get by renting in San Diego you would need to net at least $4,000./month - to live a life with more variety/entertainment, a little extra for travel or retirement you would need at least $6,000 mo. for a single person, $8,000 for a couple.I’m sure many live here on much less, those on the outskirts not centrally located, Lakeside, Jamul, Santee, El Cajon, Campo, Notth Escondido, Ramona, (but even these neighborhoods have their share of million + dollar homes - and many people live on much more, Rancho Santa Fe, Carmel Valley, La Jolla, Encinitas, Del Mar, Point Loma, Coronado, etc. these people must live on at least $10,000 net/month unless they inherited the property, and did not pay a mortgage and have very low property taxes, which many of them do. A good salary to live here would be netting about $80,000 a year.*** Since writing this answer, rents have gone up quite a bit in San Diego. A friend of mine just went searching all over Mission Valley Tierrasanta, Scripps Ranch, North Park, Hillcrest, downtown, etc. He settled on a 1 bed- 1 bath centrally located in Mission Valley (not by the ocean) no view, no garage, no washer/dryer, long walk to his front door,, price: $2,300.00/mo. He was maybe going a get a roomate because the 2bd-2 bath units were $2,850.00 to $3,200.00 depending on the sq feet, one was 625, the other 710. So if you want any sort of entertainment or money left to save, factor in your rent or mortgage payment first.By the way, my friend was in the military with an $1,800 housing allowance on top of his monthly salary.

Is a monthly income of $3,000 enough to live a comfortable life on your own in the US?

3000$ is good money if you are in your 20–30’s i would say.One of the main reason being that you are most probably single and dont have to raise or look after a family. If you go to gym and eat and clean and healthy diet most and dont binge eat at chillis and TGIF you should be good with about 500–800$ to save every month. Now if you do have a family it doesnt look like a good enough bet for you as there will be expenses and you probably have to take care and provide for your family. sometimes in these situation you would have to cut out your needs to tend to your family wants so it is more appropriate to say that you would probably need a more sum of money to live comfortable life , per say .If you are working a job than this would seem like a challenge to hurdle a project, go to gym , have a social life as well as spend quality time with your family and kids. Mostly people tend to live in this reality for 30 years because they feel that there is nothing they could do to change this situation. There was a time until recently that i use to feel less money is no money until i met Stuart Ross who opened my eyes to the infinite riches of the world and helped me start my own online affiliate marketing business . Is $52000 a good salary for a single women?

I'm trying to figure out what career i want, I was thinking something along the lines of a counselor of some sort. $52,000 was the average income for a counselor and i was wondering if that was good.
