Is the movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World any good ?

Probably not. It has bad jokes which are not even funny, it gets boring after a while so i would definitely not see the movie if i were you. I saw it and regret it.

Any movies with action like scott pilgrim, the matrix, sucker punch and wanted?

The movies you mention have some very unrealistic, over the top choreographies, so two similar matrix-ish ones:

- Equilibrium, a Christian Bale movie that doesn't get mentioned often. It's rated R, but it's pretty much as violent as Matrix and Wanted. If you could see those, you should be fine with Equillibrium. This one has the merit of having a great story.

- Ultraviolet: by the same director, with Milla Jovovich. Not as good as Equilibrium, but in the same style. A little bit more manga-ish, thought. Rated PG13

What did you think of scott pilgrim vs the world?

It didn't do well because it was meant for very specific niche audience. People I know who don't like video games, comic books, anims were left a little confused and didn't appreciate the style nor several jokes (like the coins). Also, previews tried to sell it more as a movie for teens, while it could have been more successful if sold to geeks in general regardless of age.

Personally, as an old geek, I loved it. Not the most thought-provoking intellectual experience, but it succeeded its simple goal of being fun and entertaining.

Will there ever be a sequel to the Scott Pilgrim movie?

"Scott Pilgrim vs The World" debuted in 2010 and had some serious box office competition in the way of "The Expendables," which took all the male audience and "Eat Pray Love," which siphoned all the female audience. "Scott Pilgrim" ended up taking $47 million worldwide on a budget of about $60 million dollars.Money is everything in the movie business. It takes a lot of money to make and market a movie and it's always a gamble by the studios when they take a chance on an unproven property. Hell, it's a gamble even when they are dealing with a proven franchise.Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead from "Scott Pilgrim" talked about the hopes of a sequel recently:"I don’t see that happening, I think because the film didn’t make a lot of money, I don’t really see the studio backing a sequel for that reason. But I don’t think it needs it either, I think it’s such a great movie on its own, and it will always be there, it will always exist, this great movie that we all made, and that’s certainly enough for me and I think enough for everybody involved. So ya, hopefully we’ll all get to work together again in some capacity because it was a really amazing talented group of people that I’d love to work with again someday, but I highly doubt it will be on the set of Scott Pilgrim 2."EXCLUSIVE! Mary Elizabeth Winstead Says SCOTT PILGRIM 2 Probably Will Never HappenMoviegoers are always complaining about how we don't get anything from Hollywood that's not a sequel, a reboot or a re-imagining. "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" is one example of Hollywood taking a chance by making a fresh original movie, and then the audience just not supporting it.If we want to see more movies like "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" (or a sequel) then we have to show up at the theater to see it. It's ten times harder to get a sequel when the first movie loses so much money. At this time it's highly unlikely that "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" will see a sequel. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy how cool and fun this unique movie is right now. It will be treasured long after "The Expendables" and "Eat Pray Love" are forgotten.Scott Pilgrim 2: Sequel Demanded By Fans, But Will It Happen? What went wrong with 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World' and why it should scare moviefansScott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)

What martial art style does Michael Cera use in Scott Pilgrim Vs The World?

He was trained with an assortment of martial arts, not just one style...

What's your opinion of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World?

I loved it.

I saw this movie with no preconceptions of it as a movie and I have to say I am glad. I guess I was expecting another Michael Cera movie about some dopey kid in love. And that's what it is, but done in a unusually great way.

For anyone under 25 brought up on gaming (like me) this will be just brilliant. The style of the movie with its "end of level baddies", game-play set-up and visuals are a welcome and refreshing twist on what could have been a hum-drum movie. The music rocked, the comedy was fast, slick and laugh out loud.

Easy 8 outta 10, entertaining throughout.
