Good Name For A It-department That Works With Pos And Kiosk

Kohls shoe department?

I think you messaged me before about the shoe department. I send you a detailed note about what you're going to be doing during a normal shift, so I'll just give you the quick version:

1. Customers
- You're always gonna have customers looking for shoes in this size or that. You'll be asked on the floor to help look in backstock or call local stores to see if they have that shoe there, or assisting them with using the online kiosk (if you have it).
- Customers also make BIG messes when trying on shoes and rarely put them back after trying on. There will be trash to pick up and shoes to put away.
- Some "customers" don't always have good intentions. Shoplifters in my store's shoe department have pulled the "switch," replacing their old shoes with new shoes and leaving the old shoes in the box for the next unsuspecting customer as a surprise. Keep an eye out for those acting suspiciously, you can ask your store's security for assistance (you NEVER go after them yourself) and if you help get someone, you get a reward from corporate.

2. Department Projects/Daily Tasks
- Sometimes you'll have something to do specifically during your shift, be it a note from the department supervisor or a manger.
- Sometimes you'll be restocking from the back to the floor. Other times there might be shoes from the truck that need to be back-stocked.
- Shoes get returned. Once during your shift, you'll probably need to go to Customer Service and see if there's any shoes that need to be brought back to your department
- Occasionally, customers change their mind on shoes at checkout and will leave them there. So there might be recovery to grab by the cash register banks.

3. POS
- This varies by store manager, but sometimes you may be assigned as backup cashier during certain hours. You're expected to respond as soon as possible to ring where ever you're called to
- Occasionally you may get a page from a cashier needing you to answer a question concerning a price or something on shoes.

There's certainly plenty to do and it gets busy during the holidays.

Best of luck again.
