I forgot my study packet at school, and now i have a test on special right triangles, the pythagoream theorem, and perfect squares, in geometry class tommorow. How do I find good math help sites?
If you google 'math help sites' you will get many but it is hard to find the good ones. Till now, I have also tried taking some digital help for my daughter for math but after wasting a lot of time and energy, I had given up. Some are still okay like QuickMath.com - Automatic Math Solutions, Online Math Tutoring & Test Prep and so on but it DID NOT solve my purpose. I had to find other different ways to get help for Math.So, I still did not get clear picture of what exactly you are looking for but I hope my ways will help you out.What I tried was making math fun and not an everyday task. Like you, I read a lot and gathered that many homeschooling moms did the right and the smart thing of making math an activity rather than a subject. So, the best way would be to introduce in a concrete way and then slowly practicing it in an abstract way.Concrete can be many ways like math games, math activities, math board games, math apps and more. Honesty one of the best places to visit to find free courses is Khan Academy. You can take many courses on there including biology, chemistry, and computer programming. a really good website is brightstorm.com It has helped me understand math and has excellent videos by professional college teacher. they also have a youtube channel called "brightstorm 2" i highly recommend them also khanacademy.com is another excellnt website (it is brightstorm's competitor) And by the way these sites are FREE =D, unless you want to pay for the additional advanced featured and a personal online math tutor on these websites. =) in my opinion, find brightstorm more helpful then khanacademy =).

I'm taking my final exam on Tuesday and I want to be prepared. My teacher has told me exactly what will be on the test, so I know what to study. But it's easier for me to actually be doing it rather than looking over notes. Anyone know a good math website where I can get a variety of math problems?
