Acoustic Guitar help! Song suggestions please?
Most songs in the acoustic slapping style that he uses are in a lower tuning, mainly so that the strings are looser to make fretting easier when tapping. They also tune the lower string down a tone so that the bottom strings form a power chord when fretted straight across, which is again a much easier shape for that slapping style. Have a look at some stuff by Michael Hedges, Preston Reed and Jon Gomm - they play in a similar style. Between them they may have some stuff in standard tuning. I don't think they will, but they're worth checking out anyway if you're interested in that style.

Need a song suggestion for guitar to play at an audition (please read descripition!!)?
i'm wanna go to a new school which has a great music class and stuff (and they also have more rock-metal stuff in the lesson, beside jazz and classical music) and i wanna go there because some of my friend are trying to get in their too... so they want me to learn music theory stuff for the audition (which i know really good), one jazz song with solo included (i know the song perfectly and the solo too) and a song that i choose (any kind, any genre) so i cant decide what song should i do. can anyone suggest me a good song for guitar for my audition (i'm a rock-metal fan, but i like every music genre beside pop) and i've been playing guitar for 7 years now so don't suggest any begginer stuff thank you and sorry for the long question
