Google Plus Autoshare Photos Thingy

How can I automatically share my Google contacts with another user with Gmail? Is there an easy and painless way to do it?

Currently, Google doesn't let you share your contacts with other email addresses outside of your domain.  For example, if your email is John@jellybean.com, you can only share your contacts with other people who have a "name@jellybean.com" email address (the "jellybean.com" email domains need to match up).The only way around this is to share your contacts with any other Gmail account, or other cloud account (like Outlook 365) is through cloudHQ. It even has a free trial, too.See below for Gmail<->Gmail contacts sync:Disclaimer: I'm a cloudHQ co-founder. Still, there is currently no other service that offers this workaround, so I'm writing this post rather matter of factly. :-)

Will I lose my Google Photos and Videos when Google+ shuts down?

If the photos are uploaded to Google Photos and then shared to Google+, they will not disappear. However, if they were originally uploaded to Google+ and they do not appear in your Google Photos outside of albums that match their respective albums on Google+ then they will for sure disappear with Google+. I would recommend downloading them and re-upload directly to Google Photos instead. You can confirm if the photos are not directly on Google Photos if you browse the upload date of the photos and they do not show up on the master “all photos” display. If they only show up inside albums, they are stored elsewhere, such as Google Drive, or Google+.In this case, photos you uploaded to just Google+ will disappear alongside the site's shutdown. You can easily download these photos by accessing the Google Takeout in your account menu on Google.

How can I upload photos directly from Facebook to Instagram?

Yes you can! Open your facebook app on your phone. Go to your albums, or wherever the photo is you want to share to Instagram. Select that photo on your phone to open it up. On the upper, right hand corner of this photo, you’ll see three dots (…). Click on this choice the select “save photo”. This photo is now in your phones “photo” library. Close the fb app and go into your phones photo library; you’ll find the photo you just “saved” right away. You can now send it to your instagram home page! This process just takes seconds to do but you have to remember to go into facebook from you PHONE and don’t try any of this from your computer! Hope this helps

How can I autopost to Instagram starting from Facebook, and if there is not an ‘official’ way to do so, what is the path of least resistance to accomplish this post?

What Ian McCullough said. I also don't recommend it. The formats and audience expectations are different: Instagram is about images first. Facebook can be about images first, but isn't always, so you may want more descriptive text there. Plus, you may want to tailor who you share with.

How can I automatically crosspost between Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and (possibly) other social services? Is a Google+ API possible any time soon?

I am the founder of a social media tool called OneUp that allows you to schedule and automatically repeat your posts on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+, Google My Business, and Instagram for only $5 per month.I am obviously biased, but I think it is the best social media management tool for cross-posting between your accounts. Here are some of the features:Posting to multiple pages - For people who are posting to more than one social network at a time, OneUp makes it easy to post to FB Pages and Groups, LinkedIn profiles and pages, and Twitter accounts, Pinterest, Google My Business, and Instagram all at once.Repeating post - OneUp gives you the option to repeat your posts automatically. This allows you to resurface old posts that otherwise would have never been seen again. Also for anyone that has a Facebook Group with daily themes that repeat every week (such as "Make it happen Monday"), OneUp makes it easy to entirely automate this.RSS feed automation - If there are any blogs, publications, podcasts, or YouTube channels that put out good content consistently, you can add the RSS feed links in OneUp, then whenever new content is posted from those places, it is automatically shared to the pages you select.Chrome Extension - Using the OneUp Chrome extension, you can easily schedule many images at once from any website, such as sunsets for example. You can choose which images from the website you want to post to social media, bulk update or individually update the descriptions and links for each post, then schedule them to be posted with a set interval (such as every 60 minutes), or choose custom dates and times for all of them.Analytics - OneUp lets you see which posts are getting the best engagement.Customizable UTM parameters - OneUp lets you customize UTM parameters so you can keep track of how your links are performing in Google Analytics.Link Shortening - Connect your Bitly account and OneUp will automatically shorten any links and allow you to track clicks through Bitly.
