Got Dwi In Bronx 1 Year Ago. Now I Eat With Snap Bennefits

Can I legally eat something in a grocery store if I haven't paid for it yet?

It’s illegal. In every state, they don’t even have to wait for you to pass the last point of purchase. All the police need is your behavior to indicate that you’re taking that which you haven’t paid for. Whether you consume it now and pay for it up front or stick the Snickers in your pocket, eat it tonight and return to pay for it tomorrow, you’re taking that which doesn’t belong to you.Stillllllll, I mean, come on, right?I do this all the time. I am forever grabbing a soda at Publix, drinking it during the shopping trip and then putting the bottle on the counter. I have a long history of spending substantial sums of money at that store and it’s not like I was stuffing the bottle in my purse (sorry … I mean “murse”). It gets paid for. Most companies will not stop you until you actually march past the last point of purchase (the checkout counter). As a practical matter, they won’t ever bust someone who takes a bite out of a piece of fruit, even if you don’t pay for it. The whole matter of stopping shoplifters is quite contentious inside of corporate management and a lot of companies believe that LP is a waste of time. But, all that said, you should pay for it first.

Is Donald Trump really that bad of a president, or does it just seem that way because he's such a jerk?

its both… as a President, he has only passed a few pieces of legislation, the tax cuts and the infrastructure bill come to mind, and that’s about it. He’s appointed some Supreme Court Justices, but that’s not that much hard work. The rest of his accomplishments have been mainly executive orders and threatening or withdrawing from agreements with our allies. He notably does not prepare for any meetings or summits. He doesn’t read any briefing if its over a page and doesn’t contain pictures or mentions his name. A record number of his cabinet has resigned. He spends most of his time at rallies as if he’s still campaigning for president and/or golfing at his resort. He treats discussions with North Korea as a real estate deal. He’s not intellectually curious at all, believes in conspiracy theories, never blames himself for anything, and flip flops on every issue even mid sentence. He starts twitter fights with private citizens. He bans news organizations he doesn’t like from his press conferences. He thinks he’s above the law.So as President, he’s not very effective. A lot of members of his own party don’t agree with him. A lot of what he says (see the Fox News interview) doesn’t make a lick of sense. As a jerk, well.. I’m sure you already know why he’s a jerk.

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

The American South: What is the difference between a redneck and a hillbilly?

The other answers are great, but there are a couple of differences they didn't mention.  (NOTE:  I'm only answering this for the benefit of foreigners who are unfamiliar with how the words are used.  If you're American I doubt you'll learn anything new from my answer.)First, "hillbilly" is a dated word, and is not used as much as "redneck" is currently, at least in the Deep South.  "Hillbilly" compares people to goats and is probably used more in the upper South.  "Hillbilly" does imply both poverty and lack of education.  You might read that in a book but you probably won't hear that word as much in spoken US English.A "redneck" is a person who is (to borrow Southern comedian Jeff Foxworthy's definition) delightfully unrefined.  He doesn't dress or talk "fancy" or eat "fancy" food.  A "redneck" isn't necessarily stupid or uneducated, and there are plenty of them who have as much money or more than more educated people have.  He is a working class man, basically."Redneck" is about culture, and this may explain why some people think the word "redneck" is funny, apply it to themselves and their family and friends, and see nothing offensive in the word.By the way, that doesn't mean YOU should call that person a "redneck".  It's an offensive word.  If you called me or someone in my family that, I would be quite offended.  Also, I don't use that word to insult others, and neither should you, ever.  Remember that rednecks have more guns than the rest of us.  Seriously, they do.The euphemism for "redneck" most people use is "good old boy", and sometimes just "boy"*, which can be used for any white man to suggest that he is a "country" type of person.  "Gal" can be used for women.  These words do not offend anybody.*Don't call or refer to non-white men using the word "boy" because this has a racist history.
