How will your face change after dental braces?
After getting dental braces, the appearance of entire face change. Every human being has a specific asymmetry degree for face. The dental braces subtly and slowly restores the symmetry to let other people see your face. It is quite clear that the dental braces bring a little change in your jawline and facial profile that becomes noticeable after a certain period of time.The changes may take time to manifest but after certain time, the changes become prominent and the jaw will get realigned in accordance with the face structure. However, it is essential to understand all the pros and cons of having dental braces to your oral cavity to not feel mistaken after this effective dental procedure.
How do cross eyed people see the world?
That really depends on the person, but I'm going to try to explain my experience with strabismus !Strabismus for me made it so that I can only see from one eye at the time. Both of my eyes were functional, just that they didn't want to cooperate together at the same time. I could only see one at the time. I could easily switch between eyes if I wanted to, and it was a strong reflex for me to do whenever the eye I was seeing from was blocked. When I only saw from one eye,it wasn't like I saw black on the other,I just didn't feel my other eye.This led to me having two different point of views, literally.Like, you know that little game we used to do as kids where when it rained in the car, we would make a race between two raindrops on the car window ? Well, for me, it was a much more confusing concept because I would be staring at the droplets with one eye,switch to the other and suddenly the droplet that was losing is now winning !I'm sorry if this sounds confusing, I never really realized before how weird it must sound to another person that isn't a optometrist or another cross eyed person. I had my corrective surgery very late, at the age of 9 and never had the patch. My strabismus is coming back at full force so I'll have a new one this summer :')
