How to give my Boyfriend A REALITY CHECK! PLS ANSWER !!!?
Ok so i have been dating my Bf for about 10 months and everything was good until we had an argument and stopped talking for awhile (long story short it was a bad dispute and r parents made us stop talking) Yesterday he was told we could talk again (unknown to me) but HE NEVER CALLED (we talked secretly through his friends phone he knew i was expecting a phone call it was the ONLY time we had 2 talk) when i asked him Y didnt u just call to let me know wat happened he said Because he didnt wanna push it 2 far(watever the hell that meant) i guess he heard in my voice that kinda pissed me off and said sorry i acted like it didnt bother me (AS always) but im starting 2 get fed up with his **** !excuse my Language but i feel like im the only one trying 2 keep this relationship together when i see him im happy ,im smiling !when he sees me it like ZERO emotions unless hes sticking his tounge down my throat, When i wanna cry 2 him he doesnt even try and care , for instance i got into a fight he was just like "hahaha well thats messed up".... "WELL football practice went great" WTF how do i give him a little wake up call cause im tired of chasing after someone who doesnt even seem 2 want me! I love him and he says he loves me he cry's when i even mention breaking up and i DID let him know how i feel MULTIPLE times but it seems like his favorite hobby is blocking his damn brain from thinking i dont wanna break it off ,and if i do i want that 2 be the last option i just want him 2 wake up and smell the damn coffee im tired of playing catch the boyfriend Ps. SOrry for the bad grammar = )
How can I politely correct someone's grammatical error without looking or sounding like a grammar Nazi?
Well, first off, make sure they’re actually making a grammatical error. This involves understanding the difference between descriptive grammar (the actual grammar of a language as it is spoken by native speakers) and prescriptive grammar (arbitrary rules about how the language ‘should’ be spoken).Second, ask yourself this: does it matter? If the intended meaning is clear and the context is informal, it probably doesn’t matter, and therefore, no correction is necessary. If the intended meaning is not clear, or the context is more formal, then it may matter, and correction may be in order.Third, be polite. This means not belittling the person for having made an error, and phrasing your correction as an attempt to help. For example, “Hey - this letter is going to go out to clients, so you might want to double-check your phrasing. In particular […]”.Sometimes, it may be best to put it as a question. “What you wrote is a little unclear to me. Did you maybe mean X instead?” This “saves face” by not explicitly saying they were wrong, and so can help avoid embarrassment (and thereby avoid the anger than can arise from being embarrassed).Good luck!
Ramadan: Prophets after Muhammad (pbuh)?
Why is there a need for prophets after Muhammad (pbuh) if he had been sent with the last scripture/book and the perfect religion? If Ahmadis answer this question, please answer this as well: You accept all six Sahih books that the Sunnis use, but deny all those that contradict/conflict with the Quran according to the translations you use. But, for all those you reject, they do not contradict the Quran with the translations we use (Hilali/Khan, etc). For an example, the phrase (خاتم النبيين) Khaatam Annabiyyeen - The seal of the prophets, has many different opinions on what it translates to. The majority of translators agree on two translations: The seal of the prophets, the last/final prophet. So, why is seal then translated to "mark" or "greatest" instead of final/last? Hadiths from the Sahih books clarify that Muhammad (pbuh) was the last and final messenger and prophet, and that does not conflict/contradict the verses of the Quran, but your translations of it. So, why then, adopt new terms or translations for the word Khaatam, instead of using those Hadiths discarded in which prophet Muhammad is stated to be the last and final prophet and messenger?
What makes an argument sound
If you can corroborate your side of the argument with evidence or proof of your point of view, then there should be no room for contradiction.
