Sorry if this is too late Best she has a "tremendous vitality" a quote from chapter 7 when she dies and she isn't scared of men ‘Throw me down and beat me, you dirty little coward!’ and she will do anything to achieve her dream of becoming Tom's wife, even running out in front (of what she assumes) is his car Worst she reads "some of the small scandal magazines of Broadway" which aren't particularly intellectual this stupidity is also seen when she runs in front of a moving car! (seriously wtf) she is ugly "Her face…contained no facet or gleam of beauty" obsessed with status "he isn't fit to lick my shoe" and money, when she found out her husband had to borrow a suit for their wedding she wept She tries to be like Daisy but fails, Daisy always wears white to represent he purity "she dressed in white, and had a little white roadster" but Myrtles dress is cream, which is like white but a bit grubby. Why does George Wilson kill Gatsby in The Great Gatsby?

Tom Buchanan, Daisies husband, tells Wilson that Gatsby killed Myrtle because he hopes that he will kill him. Additionally it is possible that, since Myrtle was Tom’s mistress, that he felt genuine sadness, that was then employed to destroy Gatsby.Daisy, who is perfectly aware of this situation feels little sadness of regret and instead continues on with Tom.
