Greek Yoghurt Vs Raw Cacao Powder

How to make greek yogurt taste better?

Add some Splenda and fresh fruit
Fruit preserves, marmalade, jams and jellies taste good

Mixing some sugar free instant pudding into it is good...I prefer Jell-O brand Cheesecake flavor and sprinkle some crushed graham crackers on top..tastes like cheesecake..you only need about a TBSP of pudding mix for 6oz yogurt. Pistachio pudding is pretty good too!

I use it as a dip..add dry ranch dressing mix and eat with raw veggies
I also use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream on potatoes, tacos, etc....

Homemade greek yoghurt vs commercial greek yoghurt protein?

I usually make greek yoghurt by straining the whey out of regular yoghurt. But i also know that the whey contains protein, so when i strain them out, i am actually removing some of the protein. Does this mean that the protein content would be lesser than the original, and that commercial packaged ones are higher in protein, or does it simply mean that since the yoghurt is more concentrated, there would be higher protein content per serving as compared to the original regular yoghurt?

Greek yoghurt vs raw cacao powder?

why don't you mix some powder into some yoghurt and blend it together. I eat oatmeal for breakfast and like to play around on flavour as just having it one way day in and day out is boring.

What can I put in my Fage 0% fat Greek yogurt?

Nothing.

Stop eating low fat foods. Fat doesn't make you fat, sugar does. Most fats are healthy.

Low fat and no fat foods have higher sugar content. Read the labels.

companies process foods to get low fat or no fat. Processed foods are not healthy. You know that.

Example. K_ _ _ _ processed cheese slices are not cheese.
What exactly do you think they put in them?

Jen had some very good suggestions on what to add. Take her up on it.

Buy some goat cheese, put some good olive oil in the cavety of half, and add pine nuts the goat cheese. Bingo. Healthy and tasty. Eat it right out of the avocado with a spoon or fork.
Try substituting Kefir, full strength, not processed flavored Kefir for yogurt. It is like a healthy cousin to yogurt. Put two fingers of kefir in a glass, add i teaspoon of raw unprocessed honey and you will love it. It will start your day off right and you won't be able to keep the pounds if your trying to loose weight. It even says so in the bible. Raw unprocessed honey, and not honeycomb.

Try it, you'll like it and notice a nutritional difference.

While your shopping read the labels of low fat items. Not only are they processed, they are higher in sugar than whole and unflavored 'foods?'.
Say no to processed foods and no to low fat. Your body needs fat, not sugar. Fat tastes good too.

What do raw cacao nibs taste like?

It tastes like very bitter dark chocolate when eaten plain, straight-up. It is dark chocolate in its "100% cacao" purest form after all - and is somewhat of an acquired taste to be honest (like 90% cacao dark chocolate bars are).

Cacao nibs actually taste rather good as one of the additions to my organic plain cultured nonfat European/Greek style yogurt each morning. It also tastes good mixed into a quality-ingredient, healthy peanut/nut butter, or trail mix.

Some of the big ones:Yogurt usually doesn't require fortification like milk, it contains less Vitamin A and D as a result. Real yogurt, without thickeners, is usually formulated with milk, milk solids and cream, it is more dense in protein, calories and fat than milk. Yogurt is lower in the sugar lactose because it has been converted to lactic acid. All yogurt is cultured and can contain up to 10^10 lactic acid bacteria per gram. Some of these bacteria can survive and colonize your GI tract, becoming beneficial probiotic bacteria.Milk is pretty much always fortified milk with fat content between 0 and 3.25%, it is highly standardized. You won't find artificially sweetened, flavoured and coloured products calling themselves 'Milk'. You will find artificially sweetened, coloured and flavoured products calling themselves 'yogurt'. Yogurt can be simply cultured milk, or something unrecognizable as a dairy product, choose wisely.

Cocoa Niba are bits of fermented, dried, roasted and crushed cacao beans. Nothing more. They are just chocolate that hasn't been ground and mixed with sugar yet.  They  have an intense chocolatey taste, but aren't sweet at all.You can mix them in ice cream, bake with them, mix them in granola or other cereals, or just eat them as is. I've had them candied by coating them with caramelized sugar.
