Growing Healthy Hair Long Tips

How did you grow your hair long and healthy?

Using hair oils as conditioner for 2-4 hours before washing is really good at strengthening hair.  Results are usually not immediate, but it works to strengthen the hair for the long term if used regularly, about 2 times a week for at least 6 months.  Olive oil and coconut oil are good.  Its good to switch them up and/or use a mixture of these.  Also, here is a hair mask than I make and use for healthy hair, it can be used twice a week (or more) for about 2-4 hours and then should be washed off:Ingredients:2 cups coconut oil2 cups olive oil2 tbsp henna powder2 tbsp amla powder2 tbsp aritha powder2 tbsp shikakai powderMix all above ingredients and put in a pan on the stove.  Switch the stove on VERY low heat, and heat for 2-4 hours (the heat should be super low) Then store the mixture in a bottle.  Stir before applying. The plant powders that I mentioned are of Indian origin, a google search can help you find out more. You can find out about other ways to use them for the hair.I use this mixture myself, and sometimes just plain olive and/or coconut oil.  It helps prevent hair breakage, makes it more shiny, and less frizzy. You can also add almond oil in any of your oil or hair mask mixtures, but it should be a small ratio of any other oils that you use, up to 1/4 of the other oil.

Anyone have a tip for growing long, healthy nails?

I got a box of nails from the hardware store and planted them. After a week they sprouted and now I have the cutest little nail plants. The only mistake I made was I got one and a half inch nails. If you want longer ones, make sure the ones you buy are the kind used for nailing landscaping ties, they are about a foot long. You should get pretty long nails from these. They need a bigger pot though.

These are all tried and tested methods that are simple to incorporate into your routine and will give you definite results.1) Eat Hair Healthy FoodYes, there are foods that you can consume for rapid hair growth. Eating lean meats such as fish and chicken or green leafy vegetables like spinach or lettuce will provide the essential vitamins and minerals that will make your hair grow longer and will provide a sheen to them as a bonus.2) Oil It Real GoodAlong with leaving you feeling completely relaxed, an oil massage will promote stronger hair growth by stimulating your follicles. Hair growing tips?????

Healthy hair growth starts with good nutrition. Your hair needs certain nutrients to grow properly. This can be achieved by getting enough of the right fats, vitamins, and minerals from your diet, or from dietary supplements. There are also some other supplements that may also be able to help, like saw palmetto, Pygeum Africanum, MSM, and grape seed extract. I like Caribbean Hair Grow. You should talk to your doctor before you do, or take anything, and also do your own research (wikipedia, pubmed, etc.) as well. Hope this helps...

Tips for growing out hair?

My hair used to be much thicker and down to about my middle back. About 2-3 years ago i decided to cut it to right below my shoulders. My hair is a dirty blonde and seems to be thinning as well.
I did get highlights once about a year ago and hated it, so I had it dyed back to my normal color and haven’t put any bleach or dye in my hair again.
I’m missing my longer, healthier hair! Do you know of any tips or products that worked for you or someone else with straight, thinning hair?

Hair tips for healthy hair?

I cut my hair really, REALLY, very short when I was 13 years old and have since been stressing out trying to grow it! I've finally got it down to my belly button and have learnt lots of healthy hair tips along the way 8-)
- Never, ever put heat on your hair twice a day. Big, NO-NO.
- Avoid blow-drying your hair if possible. It's worse than straightening and also, letting your hair dry naturally allows all the wonderful vitamins and oils in your hair moisture your lovely locks!
- Trim your split ends every few weeks. It may feel like you're taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back, but in the long run, it saves a lot of heartache when you get lovely long hair and then realise it's completely split and damaged because you didn't trim it and have to have it all cut off and start again.
- Use AUSSIE hair products. They are a gift sent from heaven! That is all.
- When washing your hair, flip your head upside down and give yourself a scalp massage with shampoo - it increases the blood in your scalp causing more hair growth AND feels lush!
- Only wash your hair every other day. Washing it every day dries out all of those wonderful natural hair oils I spoke about up there. ^
- And finally, sacrifice having nice, straight or curled hair for the mean-time. Put it up in a pony tail and protect if from cold temperatures. Yes, you'll know it doesn't look as nice as you can make it look, but it will grow a lot quicker without having constant heat put on it every day... In the long run, you'll be able to curl it, straighten it, twizzle it round your fingers and let it blow all over the place.. But for now, it needs to be kept away from damage at all costs!

Good luck, chick! :)
