Growling Stomach And Not Hungry

Why is my stomach growling but I'm not hungry?

Mine does the same thing, I believe it is because of what you eat. I have grown accustomed to it over the years but when I want it to not be present (dates, sleeping with people, somewhere quiet) then I eat olives, I have found that they do wonders for settling of the stomach.I believe it is related to gas inside your body, another hint is to not hold in passing gas (farts, burping) that has helped me and I hope these help you.

My stomach is growling but im not hungry?

I literally ate so much today but my stomach feels empty and it keeps growling, but I feel full. -.-||| whats up with that?? is it normal? (my stomach isnt even empty as the food i digested still remains)

My stomach is growling but I'm not hungry and I want to stop it the question is how?

you might not feel hungry but your stomach is giving you a message. like the first answerer suggests, try giving it a little bit to keep it busy. your stomach only growls when it has nothing else to do. so feed it a little and shut it up. you cold try chewing gum or sucking a mint (don't tell your teacher i said that) cuz the saliva you create will keep your belly happy. actually, sucking on anything, even a button, will produce the needed saliva. watch the sugars tho. you don't wanna rot your teeth while trying to keep your stomach quiet,

Does a "growling" stomach really mean you're hungry?

Either that, or you accidentally swallowed your chihuahua.

Why does my stomach growl even when I'm not hungry?

It meens buring down the foods. The liqueds make a chemical reactions. It makes noise every-where you because the foods are turing in the large intentis and the small intestints. Your food goes through a complicated prosses called digesting and digesting makes noises because of the turns and gasses that break through.

WHY DOES MY TUMMY GRUMBLE WHEN IM HUNGERY?

because your body makes its own gas wicth makes **burps** or the acid in your belly go through pressure. And it growls because your brain sends signales to your digestive stystem to pump the acid up do it grumble grumblezz.

WHY IT GROWLS LIKE A BEAR WHEN IM NOT HUNGREY?

as i told you the turns and pressure it goes through to stop at the end of the jurney(you know what i mean when the food stops the jurney? ew.) anyways that's normal, happens to everyone even pets. I just love rubbing my Dog's belly and placeing my ear on his bellly and hear his tummy rumble and stumble. ^^

i realy liked anserwing your question!!!

Stomach keeps making noises but I'm not hungry?

The human body is an amazing machine, and every once in a while it
will do something to remind you that it's working hard to keep you
alive and well. The stomach growl is one of these reminders. Loud,
soft and sometimes for no good reason at all, your growling stomach
has a lot to say.
The digestive system is, in essence, a long tube
that starts at the mouth and ends at the anus. Waves of muscle
contractions move and push the food continually downward in a process
called peristalsis. Stomach growling is the result of this process.
Moving with those solid and liquid chyme (partly digested food)
ingredients are gasses and air. If your stomach is empty, it begins to
produce hormones that stimulate local nerves to send a message to the
brain. The brain replies by signaling for the digestive muscles to
restart the process of peristalsis. Muscle contractions will come and
go about every hour, generally lasting 10 to 20 minutes, until you eat
again.
Thus, your stomach growls when its full (working) and when it's empty.
In some cases, excessive gurgling and grumbling may be a sign of an
upset stomach or a medical condition like irritable bowel syndrome. In
these cases, there are usually a number of additional gastrointestinal
complaints accompanying a growling stomach.
One tip to mute a noisy belly is to eat many small meals instead of a
few large ones. Your digestive system will have less opportunity to
create those peristalsis rumbles if your body has something tasty in
it. Also, eating less gaseous foods may help decrease the growling.

My stomach keeps rumbling and I'm not hungry? It's been going on for a while?

It's completely normal, all you do is drink water. You should be drinking about 1.5L of water a day. This will usually fill up the stomach (because the rumbling noise is when your stomach has a air bubble in-side it and when food fills up the empty space it makes the grumbling noise.) so then your stomach will be full of water (which is a good thing). Also water gives you better hair conditions and moist lips for good kissing

Hope this helped.
(i know what i'm talking about even though im 13, i had this problem before.)

Should you eat if your stomach growls?

As long as you’re not actually starving yourself, nothing bad happens if you don’t eat when your stomach growls.Your stomach growls because there’s not much in it but a few gas bubbles and a bit of fluid, so when it contracts, as it naturally does to move food along, it makes a gurgling sound. Your stomach spends most of its time mostly empty; after a meal, it churns up your food and passes it along to the small intestine, emptying itself little by little. But even after your stomach is empty, there’s still food in your small intestine. You’re still digesting food, still absorbing nutrients. After that’s done, you have stored glycogen to release for energy, and after that you have stored body fat. Once your body starts to dip into energy stores, it’ll also slow your metabolism down some in order to conserve energy. But by then, you’ll have had your sleep and be ready for breakfast. The only thing a growling stomach means is that your stomach is empty; it doesn’t mean you need to eat right then. Waiting until morning to eat your next meal is fine. If you don’t like the sensation of having an empty stomach, it’s also reasonable to eat a light snack around eight or nine o’clock—maybe a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts or a granola bar or something like that.

Why does my stomach growl when I'm not hungry/thirsty?

The "growling" is your intestines scraping each other so what is happening is that your stomach tells you you're full but the intestines have not received the broken down food from the stomach yet so the intestines think you have not eaten although your stomach has told your brain, that you have.
