Does a 0 point ticket raise your insurance in NC?
My brother got a ticket last night for "Failing to see before starting (turning from a direct line) that such movement could be made in safety" - G.S. 20-154. Which in other words means that his tires spun when he made a turn (hmm... maybe that happens when it's raining outside and you drive a light pickup - definitely a jerk cop). Anyway... It says he just has to pay the fine, but will it raise his insurance?? I know NC insurance is stupid anyway and my rates were raised after a no fault accident where I was rear ended. Does anyone know anything about this type of thing?? THANKS!!
The gs plugin failed to open/initiate in PCSX2?
Trying to configure PCSX2 0.9.6 and no matter what I seem to try, it still gives me the same errors "Please update DirectX" and "The GS plugin failed to open/initialize." I have already confirmed that I am running DirectX 10, and so therefore I have selected the "DirectX 10 (hardware)" in the configuration. What do I need to fix? What should someone do after 3 failed attempts in the UPSC? What are the options ahead?
Thanks for A2A.I tell you my batchmate's story- He is a top ranker this year. He failed thrice to even sail through Prelims. And this year not only did he get IAS (preferred service) but also his home cadre. He in fact thanks his stars that he made it this year because in all previous years there were no insider opening in his home cadre. Moral- whatever happens, happens for good.I understand it is impossible to believe in yourself and all that I might say might seem too philosophical but believe me if you've tried your best, you will come out with flying colours in subsequent attempts at this exam. Be sad for a while, cry if you want to. But this should last only a couple of days. Not like an ever lasting hangover.However, if you're doing some mistake in all your previous attempts and are expecting different result, then you're being impractical. Analyse what's going wrong. In my first attempt my optional was Public Administration that I changed to Sociology in my second and (thankfully) final attempt. I'd not written Mains in the first attempt since I didn't clear the Prelims stage itself. But I realised my weakness in a subject like PubAd.It's okay to admit faults. People might initially mock you for your decisions but when you improve your results, all the critics will be shut.So just three steps- cry a little, analyse where you went wrong and finally improve upon the weakness.Things that last, don't come easy. So im trying to run PCSX2 on my mac lion but i keep getting this "Can't create gsLog.txt" & "GS plugin failed?
I didn't use a Mac but I remember having trouble for a while getting it to run on my laptop. First off, the ps2 bios you have could be corrupt. You could always try finding another one and see if that fixes it. If not then here is a tutorial dedicated to PCSX2 for Mac (it has in red text "Yes it does work for Lion", if that is what you have) http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1187174
