Why do my guy-friends like to pick me up??
like if i play basketball or a sport with the guys they will just pick me up and move me so they can make the shot or w.e. or during winter. they like to pick me up and hold me over the snow. and act like they are gonna drop me in. and they've randomly put me on their shoulders and carried me around..etc. these are christian guys at youth group btw. and im not short or anything. im 5'6! so why do they like to do that to me?? jw.

It probably means he was happy to see you. Generally that's the reason why I hug girls and pick 'em up. Hard to say for sure since we don't know him, you or anything about the situation and you should be careful of reading too much into small things like that. For the record, boys don't know what they want, you want him, you will have to go get him. It sucks and it's scary and you'll have to be brave. Just remember it's better to try and fail then it is to fail trying. You kinda have to lead the horse to water and make him drink. (a tip: Don't do something stupid like trying to make him jealous with other guys. That's the one idea people tend to get, but boys tend to respond VERY badly to that. If you're really unlucky he'll just think your a slut and you'll blow it permanently).
Guy friend offered to pick me up at home?
there's a girl who ask this guy to have lunch next week. I was there at the conversation( just playing my phone). They flirted a lot together. he said that he would date only single woman( that girl is getting married). He then asked me if I would like to join the lunch with them. he then said that he can pick me up at my place. I don't know why would he say this ?is he interested? I knew he has a crush on that woman before. would he just try to make her jealous? here is additional details. this long time coworker seems to want to hang out lately. he asked me to hang out in a group and even offer to pay for me when i said that i was broke( it was my excused not to go). he offered to buy me a drink if I passed the test. every time we went out in a group , he just pat a seat and told me to sit beside him. I just never did because I am shy and awkward around him. he just asked me why I never sat with him. he used to invite me to his house with another guy friend while his parents were out of town. he knew that i will leave the country permanently soon.
My best guy friend stood me up?
My best guy friend, who i am in love with ditched me. he doesnt know i like him, but i dont think he likes me. :( anyways for two weeks i had been getting pumped up for the football game (which was yesterday) beacause i was gonna be with him and ALONE!! like i spent hours getting ready and putting my outfit together.i even bought a new shirt.. and when i finnally get to the game, hes not there. i wait alone..... the whole game looking for him(btw, out football games arent a big deal not alot of people go, so if he did go, i wouldve seen him), he never shows up.and he didnt even bother calling. so before i start thinking the worse, i think "hmmmm, maybe something big happened, and he couldnt find the time. so when i get home and get on facebook to see if maybe he left me a message but no NOTHING. but when i look at his profile, he had been on facebook fooling around and posting funny links while i was waitting for him at the game. i cried my heart out. i see myself as a very good friend to him, i always wait for him , and im here for him. and he doesnt seem llike a person that would do this.but he did. and i dont know how to deal with this or what to do.??/ please help.
I have a guy friend who is always picking on me. Why does he do this?
He probably picks on you because he can. Likely because you let him.So, you have two options, either you confront him, as it tell him that you don’t appreciate it, and make him stop, whichever way you deem best in your scenario OR you can get another friend.As you grow up, you soon realize that in most friendships, the two options above are usually what it all comes down to. So you have to pick up. Either way, pick the one that makes the most common sense and do it.Either way, don’t get stuck with a shitty acting friend. Either he stops or you get a better one. No need to get upset, this is just life.
Why does my guy friend keep mocking me?
My guy friend is randomly really mean to me, like he'll pick me up and throw me over his shoulder or say things like, "Don't go for that guy who's checking you out, cos you not good enough for him" He messes my hair up and trys to block my way if I need to get past him. But at the same time he gets quite protective and loving, like we were all hanging out in the park in the summer and he pulled me close to him and wrapped his arms around me for ages. And he'll tease me like crazy then keep asking if I am ok afterwards. I said I was feeling a little down during a facebook conversation recently then the next thing I know, he turns up at my door, panting heavily then leaps onto me hugging me saying "Im so stupid" and a muppet etc, does he like me? Cos no matter how mean he can be, hes always there.
Why does my guy friend lift me up?
My friend is 6'2, about a foot taller than me. Quite often he will pick me up so that my arms are around his neck, and carry me to different rooms for some reason which I don't know. I'm 3 years younger, so I'm quite sure his feeling for me are platonic. Do guys just like picking up small girls, or does he like me?
