What do guys think of girls with scars?
What do guys think about girls who use to self harm and the scars that are left over and stuff like that? so im a 15 year old girl. my past wasn't really the best when i was little i was sexually abused and tormented over the last couple years i have self harmed from cutting and bulimia/anorexia. i would cut on my arms lower inside and outside and upper insides of my arms also on my thighs and a handful of times on my stomach i also struggled with anorexia and bulimia which i was hospitalized for an had a feeding tube put in threw my stomach and i now have a huge scar from were it was inserted i have a 2 1/3 inch scar on my right inner wrist that goes up my arm from when i try to commit suicide and was sent to the hospital after i got home i went threw Intense therapy and an currently on medication for anxiety, depression and weight control but after getting put on the weight control pills i started gaining weight at a rapid speed and became well chubby so i was taken of but now im left with stretchmarks i have gone back down to a normal healthy weight i have been clean and have not self harmed in any way for 2 months exactly Tomorrow now okay now to get to my question of my friends are guys and they tend to treat me like a little kid bbecbecausescars i just wanted to know what guys thought about them and do you think i could still get a boyfriend with self harms scars and that sorta thing? please don't put anything rude, don't call me names like emo ***** and that sorta things :)
Do girls care about scars on a guy?
I have scars all over dude...Some from Military the rest after. I have some on my face too (not too big). I have been married to my wife almost 20 years but known her for almost 25 (as a friend before). She always said the women where she worked thought I was the most ruggedly handsome guy they knew...I only recently found out what my nickname was (no, I cannot repeat it on here)... She says alot of women love the "Rugged" guys.. not deformed mind you.. just rugged and tough. I've been shot, stabbed, sliced and everything in between.. even been shot by an arrow. I've been told by other women that my features were "chiseled".. so.. from my experience most dont have a problem with it at all. It might work in your favor.. you definately dont want the "Metro-Sexual" look .. thats a real turn off to most gals. Maybe it goes back to the days when women needed men to be the protector, provider.. men that were rough, tough and strong were the ones they were attracted to the most. Anyway.. dont worry about the scars unless you look like frankenstein...

Do guys find it disgusting when girls have scars? Or do they not mind? I have scars on my arms and shoulders from an accident. I know Im hot, I get a lot of compliments, but like no one has seen my scars. I wear sweaters and long sleeves in the summer, because the scars on my arms show and I haven't worn tank tops since I was 10 because the 2 scars on my shoulder are embarrassing. Please PLEASE be honest what you guys really think of scars on girls.

mm depends on where it is, and how big it is oh and how you got it im a motorcross racer myself, so i think that some scars look sexy. but not if they on on your face, or htey are from some lame incident
Are guys turned off by girls with scars on their legs?
Attracted to girls here, no, I wouldn’t be turned off by scars or marks on her legs. Scars, stretch marks, whatever other imperfections on legs, they are humanizing factors. I have no reason to look at another person and say “She isn’t worth my attraction because of that mark.”I have stretch marks on my legs, I have some dark spots, I have some bumps at times, I have some terrible skin at parts, I have some fatty areas. Do I hate my own legs? No. Why? I don’t expect my legs to look like a Victoria’s Secret model and I know no one else I want to be with does either.Same thing with girls I like, I know they aren’t going to look like a VS model, hell, even the VS models don’t look like the VS models. If I know that my legs have those stretch marks, bad areas, and other imperfections, other girls will too and guess what? I’m happy with being two imperfect people together, cause we can still be beautiful, attractive individuals that are more than just how our skin looks.

Absolutely.However, the way you asked the question worries me a bit.As long as you're not referring to the mainstream image of what a “hot girl” is, you should be fine.Many women who try hard to fit that image, are usually quite shallow and materialistic, therefore, the chances of someone who doesn’t match their view of a “hot guy” becoming partners are pretty slim.Live your own movie man. Why are some guys rude to girls with acne scars?
Some guys are rude because, well, they are rude, not because you have acne. Ignore them and avoid their company by all means. Don't judge yourself via their eyes. That being said, acne can come for many reasons including unhealthy lifestyle, skin or hereditary trend. I do not judge people based on that, but they are not something you want on your face. Does it really matter is your scara are attractive to a girl? If she thinks you are attractive then your scars should only add to character. To those who say scars are gross; that just tells me that you haven't been out in the real world and maybe you should try it once in a while!!

Hunny nomatter how many scars you have, nobody will think its ugly. Don't be afraid. If some guy thinks its ugly and they don't like you because of it, obviously all they wanted was sex. Everyone has scars. And if you really want them gone then go to WallMart and they sell creame to put on scars that will eventually make them fade over a few months, it's like 10 dollars...Medermina works the best. I was reading an article the other day in the local newspaper which suggested from a study that girls find guys with facial scars attractive because back in the old caveman days, a guy having a facial scar (or any scar for that matter) indicated that he can "take a hit" (he has survival skills). So I thought i'd ask what the modern girls have to say about this...do you think guys with facial scars are attractive? *PS* Tell me quick, I have a knife here ready to scar myself (or maybe I'd tell my gf shes fat if I want a bruised look) - jk lol
