Weird for guys to wear converse?
I just wanna see how many people can give me an honest opinion on this. Girls and guys. Just wondering if anyone thinks its weird or girly for guys to wear low top converse. I wear them with jeans if that paints a picture and it seems like when I wear them out into public I feel like i'm getting weird vibes or unusual looks from some people. Not everyone just some. Sometimes I like to rock out and wear the black with blue or black jeans with a black rock tee or something(not emo like just kinda punk or its more like heavy metal 80s look really. And the blue when i'm just going casual with blue jeans and whatever. Idk, maybe its just me, because i'm sure theirs always someone who will always seem weird to someone else. Normal people who try and act ghetto seem weird to me so go figure. But I guess I just don't wanna seem more weird than everyone lol.
Can guy wear high top converse?
I wear them for Parkouring, if I can do that and not feel gay, I don't see why you can't mate.

hi so i'm about to get either converse high tops or low tops. im thinking high tops b/c they look better to me. anyways how am i supposed to wear them with pants? i don't wear skinny jeans, so should i just have the jeans over them?

I wear mine with flare leg jeans and a tee and hoodie. Lots of people wear them with skinny leg jeans.Wear them with shorts - with and without socks.With skirts or dresses and socks or tights or bare legs.
Low top or High top Converse?
Okay, I'm a guy and I'm gonna try something new and buy the classic black Converse for the first time (I always wore athletic type shoes, like Nike Shox or something). Anyway, do high tops or low tops look better on a guy? I'm not going for any "look" - like skater, punk, emo, nerdy, etc... Just average. Also, I wear shorts a lot. And also, do Converses have arch supports? Are they comfortable? Thanks!!! :)

where do you live that converse are now concidered gay? when i was in highschool you were concidered a loser if you didnt own at least 1 pair of converse......which is weird because converse were made for people who could not afford expensive shoes. they were shoes for the poor. screw those kids. I love converse and if you like them WEAR THEM. be your own person. that is what makes you cool in the first place

JAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Douch bags!!!!!! Whoever said that is an idiot!!!!! I wear them all the time, I prefer low tops over hi tops. Hi tops dont look good with shorts. So tell them whose the one going to look like a fashion faux when they walk in the summer down the streets. LMAO!!! You dont see models in MACY's magazines with hi tops when they are wearing shorts, NOPE!!!! They wear low tops ALL THE TIME. They are dressed by REAL fashionable people, the real experts. So whose advice will you take, the professional, or someone who calls you gay? Make sure you wear your low tops with ankle socks. Try to hide the socks as much as possible (make it seem almost as if your not wearing any). Try to opt for the grey and black socks.

I'm a guy. I've been thinking about buying some low top Chuck Taylor shoes. And I want everyone's opinion. Do you think low top chucks look gay ? Some have said they look girly or whatever. Didn't John Belushi wear black low tops in the movie "Animal House" ? What types of socks should be worn ? Crew or Ankle ? Right now , I own top pairs of Chucks (both hi-tops). Black and red. I've been looking for Royal Blue ones , but all I find in the stores are the Navy ones. Why so few colors in the stores ?
Should men wear ankle or tall socks with low top converse?
I prefer tall socks. Mid calf or crew. I like the fun socks both regular and athletic. Happy Socks, stance, unsimply stitched or others. They become part of the outfit. Don’t wear the white or black. Too boring.
