As a guy, do you like girls with an androgynous look/style?
For me it depends. Yes to a certain extent. Boyish clothes on a girl is ok, it's when they go the extra mile to look like a boy that it becomes a turn off. The biggest way they do this is through their hair, but anything that manipulates their physical/ facial appearance to make themselves seem like guy is what sets the line for me. I think there is a difference between aiming for a certain style and aiming to look like you belong to a certain gender.I think Ellen Page pulls off the style really well, she's not afraid of looking like a girl with a boyish style. I am new to this whole quora thing. However after having scrolled through these questions, a reoccurring pattern of “do guys like xxxx?” Questions kept coming up. This to me is a subtle problem, in that females seem to be changing their style or identity to cater to males’ needs. My opinion is wear what you love and what makes you feel good confidently without needing confirmation that “guys” will like it .. Wear it because you like it and everything else will come due to the confidence that comes from pleasing yourself. At the end of the day there are some things that you as a female find attractive in a male, conversely it's Obsurd to think that all males are going to like a particular trait/feature..Just do you :)
