Hadith About Those Who Listen To Music Will Have

I like listening to music will i go to hell D:?

I think you will find that people over exaggerate when they say Music is Haram.

If you listen to Music such as Rhianna then stop, not only does she suck (Even chris beatAbitch brown is better) but she puts disgusting devil worshiping subliminal messages in her songs.

In general music is just better to be avoided but not Haram.

EDIT.

Guess your into the Ramones... ever heard a song called Skinny love? Who wrote that song originally?

Lady Gaga is a hell bent retarded lizard that had plastic surgery done on it to look Human.

Are Muslims allowed to listen to music?

No.If you quote the Quran, you will see that Mohammed explicitly says that “If thou listen to pop music, thou shalt be purged by the Prophet himself.” As such, many Muslims do not listen to music because they will be smitten by the God.When you see a Muslim listening to music, he will be publicly humiliated by Allah and then they will know not to do wrong to the real God.The only music they are allowed to listen to are religious chants and Arab Attack(now renamed DJ Khaled).A very faithful follower of Allah who does not listen to musicIf you read every 74th letter from letter 1643 in the English translation you get the message “DJ Khaled is lit.”Anyways, if you are a devout Muslim, I strongly recommend that you do not listen to any music other than DJ Khaled and the chants of Allah.Just in case you couldn’t tell, the entire post was sarcastic. And yes, Muslims are allowed to listen to music.

Is music really prohibited in islam according to Quran and Hadith?

There is no explicit verse about music in the Holy Quran, even though, there are several interpretational traditions under some verses as well as many traditions. Let me mention one of the verses:وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْترَى لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيرْ عِلْمٍ وَ يَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُوْلَئكَ لهَمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ(لقمان:6)Among the people is he who buys diversionary talk that he may lead] people [astray from Allah's way without any knowledge, and he takes it in derision. For such there is a humiliating punishment. (31:6)“diversionary talk” is any entertaining and neglectful statement or music which direct the human to futility and error. It is narrated from Imam Sadiq (as): God doesn’t pay attention to those who are present in music gatherings [[some music can lead to bad feelings and evil actions]]; after that he (as) recited this part of verse: Among the people is he who buys diversionary talk that he may lead [[people]] astray from Allah's way (31:6) [wasail al shia,Vol6,p227]It’s suitable to say that some music is good; it can affect positive influence upon those who listen to it. There are other kinds of music, which is bad; it can lead to harmful feelings and evil actions. So not all music is haram but rather, some music is forbidden.

Punishment for listening to music?

Theres no punishment. I am listening to music as we speak. The only punishment you may get is if you live in a really strict household which forbids music. Other than that music is allowed to listen to !i

Proof that music is haram for those who still deny it.. ?

I might be hypicritcial for saying this, but I agree with u. The reason I say I might be hypocritical is bc I listen to music, but after reading this, inshallah I'll stop. I have seen some evidence from sahih hadiths and scholars that some music is halaal, not like todays kind of music though. I also heard somewhere that when dajjal comes he will come with music and whoever likes music will become his follower. Dont mind these other guys answers, I'm with u 100%.
