Hair Color Disaster What To Do

How long do I have to wait to redye my hair after a coloring disaster?

I was using Naturtint 4N from the healthfood store to dye my hair medium brown (but it comes out much darker than that), and I decided I wanted a change, so I tried to dye my hair auburn with Nutrisse shade 69. It was a total disaster! My roots are bright light copper & the rest of my hair is dark brown with some red areas. I just did it last night. Can I redye my hair with the Naturtint 4N medium brown already? Will this fix the problem (make it all one color again--brown)? My natural hair color is medium brown (lighter than the 4N color).

Using Wella Color Charm to fix my hair disaster?

I was trying to add some subtle caramel highlights to my dark brown hair and obviously I left the dye on too long, they turned out bright yellow..like, cartoon character yellow. How can I fix this? If I used Wella Color Charm in say nutmeg or caramel over my bleached hair would I get my desired color or would if effect my natural color also and not look like I have highlights? I was also thinking about just using an ash brown color over it. ANY tips would be helpful.

Loreal Color pulse disaster!!!?

I totally hate colour pulse!!! One time i used the mahogany colour and it turned my hair bright orange!!!! Then it just wouln't wash out!!! My hair was like that for almost 6 months!! It took that long to wash out!! I hate them and I would never ever use it again!!

Splat! hair dye disaster!! What should i do?!?

So last night i decided to do my hair purple ombre. i used splat lusty lavender dye, i'll tell you my experience.

-So first i bleached my hair with the supplies included in the kit. I followed directions exactly... and absolutely nothing happened. I already have blonde hair, but i decided to try and get a platinum blonde so the color would be really vibrant.

-I dried my hair and applied the color where i wanted it. I left it on for the suggested time, I rinsed it, shampooed and condition, as instructed to.

-I dried my hair and the color was only faintly on a few chunks of hair.

-So, me being stupid i put the dye on all of my hair. It looks HORRIBLE.

I'm thinking about bleaching the top or the whole thing, because I'm only 13 and I don't think this is very 'socially acceptable'

Hair Dye Disaster... The salon messed up my hair!?

You should go back. A salon has a responsibility to find out what it is you want, find out your hair history, and then let you know if your request is reasonable or not. If you had a beautition who either did not get a clear idea of what you wanted to achieve, or did not take a detailed history of what you have been doing with your hair over the past few months, then the salon is responsible to reconcile and make you satisfied. Unfortunately, making you satisfied may not mean fixing your hair at this point.

You should definately go back. If you are not a strong personality, go with a friend or family member who will put up a fight for you. They should compensate you with a free deep conditioner and maybe some product you can go home with. After your hair grows out a bit, they should have you come back so they can cut off and style the burnt or discolored ends.

Good luck to you. If they don't fix this situation to your satisfaction, you have the right to call the Better Business Bureau of your area and file a complaint. You would be surprised how that can affect a business.

Can I mix level 6 and level 7 hair color together?

I am trying to get back to my natural color as closely as possible!

I have naturally light ash brown/dark blonde hair with blonde and reddish highlights, but I went red and then light golden brown (using permanent dyes). My hair used to naturally get lighter from the roots to the ends, so my ends would gradually get a shade or two lighter.

I bought two similar colors, dark ash blonde and medium ash blonde (even a light ash blonde, in case I decide to go for a more intense ombré effect)

Anyway, I planned on doing my roots dark blonde and ends medium blonde, but could I mix the two to do a space in between so that it would look more seamless?

And could I do the same for the medium and light blonde?

Pleaaaaase help! It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Oh and would I have to prelighten my hair?
