Hair is curly in certain places?
The hair near my neck is very curly, and so is the hair near my temples. However, the rest of my hair is really straight and fine. My moms hair is curly and black and my dads hair is blond and fine. My hair used to be blond but is now brown. Also, I have noticed that my hair is coarser and tangles more easily as it gets closer to my neck. Is it possible that my hair is going curly? Btw I am fourteen and I have started noticing this within the last year or two (this could be becasue it is the first time i have had it this long - mid back). And the curls that I have near my neck are legit curls, and I have some waves in the middle layer and then super straight hair as the top layer. Also, is there any way that I could bring out some more of the curls? I don't like having my hair in this weird stage between curly and straight...

Is having a curly hair such a bad thing in the first place?
NO,It has been long established that curly hair is a dominant trait in Caucasians and straight hair is recessive. This means two things: 1) if a person carries one allele for curly hair and another for straight hair, this person will have curly hair; 2) curly hair is a simple trait and is most likely determined by one single gene. However, a single gene has yet to be found to be solely responsible for the curly (or straight) hair trait in Caucasians.

Cat has curly hair behind ear?
Yes - if you don't bother GROOMING THEM. ANY cat with long hair can have the hair start to curl when the owner neglects the grooming. Why aren't you combing this cat's coat regularly? LOL that you think a no breed cat with a supposed Persian mother magically is a "new breed". Breeds come from selective breeding not spontaneously. Your real concern here should be the fact that whoever had this unaltered Persian clearly bought it from a backyard breeder since reputable breeders tend to sell their kittens altered. So the mother cat has a VERY high chance of being PKD positive. If she was than you can pretty much count on your "new breed" no breed kitten to die in just a few years.
Straight hair Vs. Curly/Wavy hair?
My mom says that if you don't naturally have wavy/curly hair you can't get it the curly way you want...the scrunching way. I have straight hair, so does that mean that I can't get it to look like its curly and scrunched?
