I have medium length thin hair, which type of haircut should I go for?
I would personally suggest for a deep U cut from shoulders so that u don't loose the length and also since your hair is thin, layer or step cuts would make it worse after the first wash.Any hair cut, soon after the cut looks amazing. But it's generally after the first wash that u can actually judge well.Be wise while cutting hair. :)All d best ;)

Marching band hairstyles for medium/layered hair?
I am a senior in high school marching band. The rules for hair, if any hair sticks out of the shako, you are wrong! No headbands allowed. Problem is, I have layered hair so I can't French braid it and I struggle getting all my hair up in a bun. My hair goes about an inch past my shoulders. Barettes are allowed if they aren't very bulky. I have been putting it up in a high ponytail but it ends up looking nasty and all over the place after I remove the shako. During our halftime show, I have to take off my shako...HHHHEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!! Thank you :)

I wear a size 5 gloves, so they can't be any tinier than yours. ;) Look at my profile, that's done this week, in less than 3mins. using one large hair claw clip or a couple smaller ones. My hair is down to my knees. It can go for medium length also, any texture hair. I can create 7 in a week. Get inspired from PROM or hairstyle magazines, fashion magazines, TV award shows like Dancing with the Stars, create one of your own. Use butterfly clips or claw clips. Another is braided with yellow and black beads lariat necklace. Make it elegant (like mine), funky, messy, or wild. So many options. When people get bored with their hair, they dye it, straighten it, then they damage their hair, instead of experimenting with styles. Another one is make a braided headband, using hair pins to secure them around your head. I did that for the Betsy Ross style, for the 4th of July, took 10 mins. I know you can do it! I've posted 10 different photos of my hair in 3 months. You can buy a variety of comb-in hair extensions at Claire's they're more fun and easy to do $5 than dyeing and change them anytime! Consult with a fabulous stylist. Get a really good haircut (hence the fabulous stylist). Maybe get hair color and/or a keratin treatment. Be sure that your styling tools are in good working order (not over heating or snagging your hair). Regular trims and color, keratin, etc. Make sure that your diet is good. :-)
